Yep.
I charge to 70 percent on weekdays as my daily commutes are under 20 miles. Friday and Saturday night, I'll charge to 80 or 85 percent, as we do a lot of running around on the weekends.
I want to charge to 75 percent on the weekdays, but the Ford app will only let me charge to 70 or 80...
Mine came last week. Tried it for a 10 minute charge test and it was cool and didn't even begin to get warm. I'm hoping that they sent me the new and improved version and not the recalled ones. It hooked up to Tesla charge handle a lot easier than the A2Z does too. :)
I haven't received mine yet but my A2Z adapter has served me well at least a dozen times this summer. Ford says that my adapter will ship this month... hopefully they will ship the new and improved version. I will keep both until I know the Ford adapter is working the way it should.
Wow! In 15 months, I've used DCFC at least 2 dozen times on long trips and I've never waited more than 45 minutes to charge to 80 percent. I'm wondering if there is something going on with your truck. I would have the dealer look at it because something doesn't seem right with that.
Ok, this was my problem. I went and unplugged the truck and set limit in truck display. I plugged it back in and it then worked like normal... showing the settings link. The truck was at the dealer earlier and maybe they reset something.
Thanks again, TaxmanHog for you expert Lightning Truck...
During the weekdays, I set my Ford Charge station pro to charge truck to 70 percent and Friday night after plugging in, I will set charge limit to 80 or 85 percent. I've looked all over this app but the settings for the charger will not appear. Maybe I'm missing something. I'm looking at the...
We rented a really nice cabin in the woods. I ran a 110v cord to my truck and was charging overnight. I put a rag around the charge port to cover up the light. I would have rather not let people see the light as they drove down the road. That would have been a nice feature to enable.
Ok, I did what you guys said and I made sure the lock was in the UNLOCKED position before inserting the charger plug into the A2Z and I knew right away that the plug went in further and made a reassuring "click" sound and that's when I knew that I was doing it wrong the first time I tried it...
I tried my A2Z yesterday on 4 different stalls and I too kept getting the Charger Fault error. After reading this thread, I will try it again in a couple days when I have time.
Thank goodness for this forum and this thread.
With everyone getting the A2Z, what are you guys going to do with it when the Ford adapter arrives? I thought about this long and hard before ordering this and I told myself that I'd sell it somehow.
What's your plan with the extra adapter?

My A2Z will be here tomorrow and my Ford adapter won't be here until July. Just for giggles, I just went to the Tesla Super Charger Station about a mile away from me. It was 10 stalls and 2 Teslas were there charging. I first went to the furthest right station but a nearby curb would not allow...
