I got the BC 1.4 update Friday. On my 23' Lariat ER. It failed on me as well the first time I think cause I had the truck plugged in. Once I unplugged it and ran the ota update again it worked!
The new BC 1.4 works keeps me in the lane better less ping ponging, and the lane change works when...
Update-
The dealer said they had never seen water in these frunk lights and since this was a warranty issue they had to submit pictures to Ford. Unfortunately it takes Ford a few hours to reply so the truck sat for a day. Luckily Ford gave the dealer the green light to fix, but they did not...
In the app under road side assistance they have this number listed - +1 800-241-3673
To my knowledge only specific Ford dealers are even allowed to sell these buy backs. Capital Ford is one of them as others have posted about here. There is also additional paperwork required to sign with...
To the fellow community, wondering if anyone else has experienced water intrusion inside of the frunk lights. If so what's the best way to remove the water and keep this from happening?
I have never left the frunk open while raining nor placed water inside of the frunk area. I do get the truck...
I echo my fellow Lightning owners I too evaluated both trucks and landed on a 23' ER Lariat as the value was better bang for the buck. But a few items to consider not brought up yet:
Rivian -
Gear tunnel - neat hidden storage but unless you have long gear like skis I'm not sure what you would...
Any one care to share new pics?
I have an azure gray and trying to figure out overall decals that go good with the base color.
Personally I like the red, black or white against the azure gray but curious to see what others have done?
Did they charge you to update the BCM at the dealership? Or is this a TSB that we can report to them and they will update our BCM so we can get WAL?
I have a 23' ER and would love to have this feature.
I agree the seats are not high enough quality for the Lariat trim as compared to he platy...
I thought the max tow package also includes on board scales / smart hitch, reverse trailer control knob, and trailer break adjustmemt squeeze lever? Unless I'm confused my self?
I really enjoy it my self for the first month or 2 I was anti 1 pedal but 6 months later I have not looked back, and I like that the truck holds once at a complete stop. (With no annoying ice cut on/off noise)
The wife seems to think I drive better with 1 pedal as well! So it's a double win!
How large is your house? Your panel already looks pretty full? Unless you have an empty circuit on that panel you might need to install a sub panel just for your garage.
Also note your service to the panel is 200 amps depending on the charger and rate you go up to your close to 35-50% of the...
While your down there I recommend adding a spare tire cover to help clean up the overall look from the rear. Not sure if it helps with overall aero like a hard cover but I'm sure it doesn't hurt.
Went ahead and set this up as an alternate way to lower both mirrors. I park in a tight drive way and the mirrors really help me to make sure I line up with more accuracy I feel then the camera system alone especially while backing up next to the wife's vehicle.
I also set it so that my power...
My last vehicle was a sports car and when I put it in reverse it would show the rear view camera display, but also the passenger side mirror would tilt down ward. It did this so you could see the curb or parking space easier with out relying on all the fancy cameras.
I bring it up as I would...
I have family in the boro and drive up about every 2 months to the area. In my azure gray 23 Lariat lmk if you see me around. But I'm down to come to town if you want to coordinate a large meetup at a car show or something like that?
I'm in the Charlotte area if your ever around would love to...
