If I'm understanding your question you are asking about those specific numbers appearing. If that's the case, 2.6 has never appeared for me after 46k miles. Mine skips from 2.5 to 2.7. And it's not like the number .6 isn't there because 1.6 appears when my mi/pkh is lower in the winter.
My provider is West Penn/First Energy and we got power restored at 3pm Saturday but in the mean time my Lightning powered everything we needed during the outage. I consumed about 12% of the battery per day. My truck was at 77% when the storm hit and I charged it on Friday at the Tesla station...
I'm no longer under warranty but I think Ford should cover it since it was a manufacturing defect that they tried to fix before.
My dealer says that since the part was replace 15 months ago, the 12 month parts warranty won't cover it. They say I'll have to call Ford to push for coverage.
I got this update a few days ago and instead of fixing the bounce back issue, it made it happen. Thanks Ford.
I've had to do the reprogramming sequence several times in the past year but haven't had a problem for a few months.
So today I had to do the up-down 3x to fix it since the update f'ed...
I got the update last evening as I pulled into my driveway. Mine is a 2022 ER. I tried it out last night and was impressed with the smoothness of the lane changes. Our Lincoln Nautilus has 1.2 and is not as smooth as this version.
I honestly thought us early adopters were going to be left out of...
Yep, faster than 65 is too fast for towing at trailer. You don't want to have to slam on the brakes to avoid something at high speeds with 4000lbs pushing you. The only other problem with towing with this truck is it's very easy to forget the trailer is back there. That's how easy it is to tow...
I've been towing our GeoPro 19FD for the past two years. It weighs around 4000lbs and is 21' to the hitch. I try to keep my speed to between 55-65 to get 1.2-1.3/ kWh. Speed kills and I see it right away. If I run at 70mph my efficiency drops to 1.0-1.1. In the norther mountains of PA there is...
I have my Preferred Charge Times set to 12am - 12am so that I can charge any time I plug in. Departure is set to 8am so there isn't any overlap. I would guess that 7 out of 10 times I charge with no issues.
I'm most interested in determining if it's possible it's the truck pausing the session...
I've had issues with my charging session pausing which requires that I unplug, shut the breaker off, wait 5 minutes, turn the breaker back on, wait 15 minutes, plug in and start all over.
Sometimes it works but other times I have to repeat that process several times before I get the FCSP...
Funny but I just had the opposite experience. I got the Tesla manufactured adaptor from Ford a week before my A2Z replacement arrived. On Sunday I needed a public charge for the first time and tried the A2Z and it was so tight I worried I'd break the charge port. Later in the day I need another...
Read his original question. He wants to charge his truck from a campground TT-30 receptacle so this is exactly what he needs for that purpose and that purpose only. The adaptor has a tag on it stating "EV Charging Only". Adding the extension cord for charging purposes changes nothing, it just...
It will and it has to do with the way it is wired internally. This video explains it in a long winded way but accurately shows how the dogbone adaptors are wired differently.
It's really important you get the correct dogbone for charging an EV from a 30amp campground pedestal. I have this one and can confirm that it works. Remember, you will only get 120v out of the TT-30 receptacle at a campground so charging is much slower...
The Tesla 16 unit Magic Docks just off of the PA Turnpike in Harmarville is probably the one you were considering for your return trip. I live near it and pass it all the time. I've never seen more than 3 pedestals in use at one time.
