  1. Glare Free Headlights on 2025

2024 Lariat, was able to enable glare free using forscan. Difference you'll see is on your dash, I believe the regular auto highbeam symbol is white with an A whereas the glare free is green with an A. Or vice versa. I can't remember since the days got longer and night doesn't fall on me till...
  2. OEM Hankook tires

I have the OEM Hankooks with about 19,000km on them so far. Saw the recommended pressure in the app as 36psi and thought that was too low for a truck of this mass. Bumped it up to 44psi and I personally feel better about it overall. Doesn't get higher than 48psi when warm. We'll see how long...
  3. Ford Charge Station Pro a bust so far

There is some evidence that shows a slower charge rate will help with overall battery life expectancy. If you know your driving/charging habits, you could potentially lower your charge rate to closely match your departure time. Set-it-and-forget-it is to set your charge limit to the max...
  4. All finished up - 2024 Lightning build

The blue light up front cause any issues with law enforcement? Up here, red/blue are strictly forbidden on any face of the vehicle while in motion as it's only allowed on emergency vehicles. I may draw some inspiration on the wheel lights.. Would be nice to be able to illuminate those areas in...
  5. Ford Charge Station Pro a bust so far

I think @TaxmanHog can answer better but on my Chargepoint Home Flex, I set the breaker amperage in the app and it will automatically set the max output to 80% of what I set. In my case, I specify in my app that the breaker amperage is 60A and it works out that the max output is 48A and I get...
  6. Ford Charge Station Pro a bust so far

If it's consistently around the 3.4kW rate, looks like it's either on a 20A circuit or the setting in the FCSP is set for a 20A circuit. 1. Check the breaker that the FCSP is hardwired to 2. Check the FCSP setting and make sure it's set to the preferred setting matching your breaker. The unit...
  7. Scissor lift that can lift the Lightning?

I picked up a 12 ton pneumatic bottle jack that can lift the Lightning with ease. Regret only getting one at the time so I'm waiting for it to go on sale again so I can lift one side completely at a time. I've debated getting a scissor lift but no easy way for me to store it when not in use and...
  8. Hankook Dynapro AT2 hydroplaning

This.. Those 4 contact patches are your only connection to the ground. If you're going to spend any amount of money, it should be on your tires. You should also have full confidence in them in any conditions.
  9. FYI: Your truck is >3 tons

Wow, today I learned.. I always thought those were for spares or going over a sharp hump, didn't know they lowered down to spread the weight of the cargo.
  10. Does 2024 Flash come without crash bars?

2024 Lariat ER in Canada does not have them. Curious if they can be added on.
  11. Keeping stuff dry in the truck bed

You could apply a strip of foam weatherstripping to the underside of the cover where it meets the top of the tailgate. The folding tonneau cover I have has rubber ribs that create a decent seal when secured down.
  12. Return to the gas pump.

Only gas equipment I have left is the 2-stage snowblower. Currently have electric mower, trimmer, various power tools all using the same battery ecosystem. As soon as a decent 2-stage snowblower is out that is not made of plastic and can handle heavy snow, I'll be switching to that first chance...
  13. bull bar with light

Looked into a bunch of bull bars before I took delivery of the Lightning. Most are not compatible due to the front sensors so I abandoned the search. Feel like it would have to be a custom fab or I just haven't found one that will work.. If you do, ping us!
  14. Best Phone for Android Auto in the Lightning? Any to Avoid?

IMO that's a personal preference, not tribalism. Tribalism is when you simply say "Android Bad, Apple Good" or "Android Good, Apple Bad" without any actual evidence and is just based on drawing a line in the sand saying what you have is better just because. That being said, my opinion is the...
  15. Interior needs some help

I currently run that myself but not too satisfied given the price. Going back to OEM personally and will swap every 10,000km.
  16. Initial range after charge well below advertised range- 2025 Flash

Another thing to keep in mind, EV efficiency is reverse from ICE efficiency. EVs are significantly more efficient in stop/go traffic due to regen braking. ICE are significantly more efficient in constant cruising and will get the most range in those situations. You will not get the 320mi range...
  17. Air filter change and debris

It does have the activated charcoal layer and it doesn't do much. Also noticed a more significant reduction in overall airflow, most likely due to the increase in filtration media, I have to run the fan at 5 or higher to get any meaningful air through the vents. My driving is mostly at highway...
  18. Chest fridge for frunk

    Awesome, thanks for the info!
  19. Interior needs some help

I change mine out every 10,000km regardless of condition. Might be worth just a quick check since if there is any mold or biomass caught there might also cause unwanted odours. Hopefully you find the root cause.
  20. Interior needs some help

Should do a sniff test.. make sure to rule yourself out by taking a shower first! Sniff around the cabin and feel around for any moisture. Could be under your mats/carpet, Ford sunroofs have a reputation for leaking/water intrustion. If that checks out, then jump in and turn the HVAC system on...
