Yes, Full Retail. There are also no deals from Ford that would have brought the price down to what it was last summer. Bummer! With pending tariffs who knows where pricing will go in the future. The Maverick I found is "In Country" so no tariffs can be applied. I looked at another Maverick...
Well, I have bad news. My Lightning with taxes in is over $103,000 Trudeau Bucks. My wife said that was too much. I may have been able to force the
issue, but "Happy Wife, Happy Life" would have been violated! So I had to turn
the vehicle over for sale to someone else. We work as hard for...
Keep checking the updates on Ford.ca for my truck build. Nothing updated since the 01-21. My dealer says it has been built and is awaiting transportation. I can not confirm this, does anyone know how to do this other than through the Ford.ca site?
When checking the serial number the battery...
My Lightning was built last week and I am awaiting transport. So I can not attest to battery life of the Lightning, but I can for my 2018 Leaf. The earlier generation had a bad rep. but mine has been great for 7 years in March. There has been no degradation according to Leaf Spy I think if I...
I am an OLD driver and I do not have a problem transitioning between my EV with 1 pedal driving and my truck which is old school. The Lightning has not arrived yet. However I do worry a bit about drivers just starting to drive. We have years of reflex training that will come into effect
when...
Munro wants to get rid of the pawl, but I do not like the idea. I do not trust an auto parking brake and I believe that there are regulations requiring a mechanical restraint like the pawl. I also have a sloped driveway and do not think the removal of the parking pawl is a good idea.

Heard about changes to Job 2 Lightnings. Did a search and AI says the new battery in the Job 2 Flash is LFP? Take AI for what it is worth, however this is interesting.
Did I luck out as the Job 2 battery is supposed to be 123 Kw not 131. Did I luck out by ordering early? Or not? If as is...
I just checked KalTire here on the West Coast and they say contact us but
they seem to have them or can get them. You're in Ontario but sounds like they might be available.
Everything I hear is that LTX are great tires if a bit expensive.

When I looked at Model Information on my truck I see this:
4 WHL L/H PART TIME DRIVE
This says it is Part Time 4 wheel drive. They did not change this for 2025 did they? Or is this just standard printout for F150's?

I am hoping for something better than that. The plan is to start my Coast to Coast Bucket List trip around then. I have a number of things planned to add to the truck for this trip.
The actual departure date depends on if the Canucks are still playing in late May, something that is looking...
I just stopped by my local dealer here in Chilliwack and my 2025 Lightning Flash is scheduled for the
week of Jan. 20th. The feeling is that delivery will be late February but will update when I know more.

Thank you for posting this. My wife thinks that BC Hydro and Smart Meters are a Ripoff
and refuses to sign up for this program. We are soon to be a two EV family when my
2025 Flash arrives to compliment our 2018 Leaf.
Ball Joints use a shallow angle taper that is self locking and should not require holding the indicated hex in this condition. A torque wrench that will allow you to hold that hex and torque is
going to be a special wrench. None of the torque wrenches I ever used in my days as a mechanic
were...
Looking at the photos one can see how this is assembled at the factory.
There is a hex on the ball joint shaft that is held by the installation tool as
the nut is run down.
During my days as a Ford Mechanic, shortly after the earth cooled, Ball Joints
and Tierod ends used Castelated Nuts and...
