i believe seatbelt and buckle receptacle are integral to seat. In the case of my donor I believe it has been cut so will be sourcing that. No one sitting up there for now
We are in business (not exactly, if you ask my wife)
Her first response is that it looks like a downgrade. She cheered up when she realized the umbrella could sit on the floor between the seats. Wait till she can put her bag there!
We’re still without the associated steering column shroud...
There is now a resource thanks to Pulpo Grande

I myself have been using column shifter for a couple weeks. I was pleasantly surprised it’s a nice shifter. Hadn’t used any sort of modern column shifter...
I have skimmed this thread and searched for mentions but didn't see anything.
Is it safe to unplug the stock shifter and plug in the new one without disconnecting battery, or are people disconnecting battery? Just don't want to throw any codes as I'm not prepped to clear them.
Thanks
Okay just ordered some parts to do this
@Vakatack I like how your install came out. I’m good with a dremel but never would have trusted a holesaw for this kind of thing. They never seem to cut super accurate for me and the surface isn’t flat so it would be coming into contact with it at diff...
@Vakatack what are your thoughts a few months in?
I'm planning on doing this so I can put in the jumpseat but have the brake controller so will have to find another spot for one or the other.
Sneaky! One of the updates in the last couple months changed it on mine too. Just has Auto High Beam standard options above.
May have to do the forscan thing after all
My 2023 pro also had Glare Free new from factory. Early reservation, late 2022 order, USA ordered and delivered.
Haven’t looked at the menu in a while so I’ll have to check if it got updated like OP. Still no confirmation on whether the light behavior changed or it’s just a name change?
Yea, I don't get it. The RAM one is so good with the rambox setup. It stores flat and you can lock it in at several locations in the bed to adjust length and it quickly adapts to extend the bed without cutting the corners off like the Ford.
I know the ramboxes have patents, maybe its the same...
I’m surprised to see such varying experiences with this supplied jack. Any guesses as to why it works for some and not others? It sounds like in some cases it doesn’t even work on flat pavement and in others it works as you’d expect on challenging dirt and gravel roads
Silly man, you got the full performance for the purchase price already! With this new structure, you’ll be happy to receive detuned performance for the purchase price, and if you want full performance you can spend extra!
Thanks for the update!
How did you confirm function? Just drove around some with it hanging by the stock shifter location? Same with the button?
im sure you’ll find a wiring solution
keep us posted. This is great news so far
Agreed, the change is a must for me as well. Came from a Ram with jumpseat and rotary dial shifter. Don’t need the rotary dial, column lever is just as good, but I need that floor space between the seats. The ford jumpseat with the extra two cupholders you can put out on the floor would be...
I put these in a few months back. I had a car rental in 2018 and got a free upgrade to brand new Expedition max eco boost which was a beautiful truck. My first experience with power running boards
been wanting them ever since. Seeing it as a sub $300 option on some trims was painful for me...
6’6’ -should- be good. As other mentioned, proceed with caution
they’re not supposed to add conduit or have ramps that are issues for non commercial vehicles. It’s on them to maintain the posted clearance
for expeditions, fans, or trucks with bed caps where that max height extends over most of...
Not to thread hijack but I've been worried about rust and wondering, is water washing really that effective? My understanding is sometimes it could make it worse, for example, any non-corrosive material like dirt and grease get removed and it gives road salt direct access to the metal frame, and...
Glad to hear both sides on this one
After deliberating I’m most likely pulling the trigger on a cord leaf blower soon. Either than Bauer, the Toro, or one on Amazon that claims to pull 15A
I’m always in range of the truck, want the most power, and if I can get a trusty driver I may be using it...
The M18 stuff is great, but one of the motivations is horsepower
The impressive M18 blower p/n 2724-20 gives 120 MPH air at 450 cfm
A 1 hp air mover gives 4000 cfm (brand dryer, or others). That’s 120v … I am looking too see if there are any 220v 30 amp equipment but haven’t found anything yet
I have a pretty good collection of m18 tools which get plenty of use around the house
I’m thinking of buying the leaf blower and it got me thinking. I’m only going to be using it to blow out the garage and driveway, and dry furniture or other outdoor cleaning. Why not look for something that...
