I assume the vehicle will not stop on itās own after expiration. Just plain old cruise control. Funny that it would keep lane centering. Thats the only thing I will really miss.
Iām in WA and lose power 2-3 times a year. Most of the time for just a few hrs but sometimes longer. I use my truck as a backup for the refer, freezer, computers, Starlink, tv and cable using power strips and ext cords. No additional expense/headache trying to set up auto switching systems...
This is normal for my ev's. I see this happen every year. Summer 80% charge is between 250 and 265 miles. Winter it drops to 225 to 240. Same thing happens on my Teslas.

Not sure how common. Forums have been long famous for over promoting problems. Mine has been flawless. Except for the customer recall champagnes! 17k miles.
So far itās not a game changer. No significant increase in winter driving range.
Older years have more options that got deleted/charged for in later years. My used 2022 Lariat (bought in 23) came with heated steering wheel, wall charger, mobil charger, onboard scalesw/smart hitch, trailer brake...
Apologies if I seemed harsh (easy to do in text) I've had both after market and factory (my Lightning). Spent a ton of time researching before I did had my Rhino brand sprayed in my Tundra. Seemed that all the peeling problems were due to faulty installation rather brand. If it wasn't perfectly...
Great recommendation we used space heaters in Alaska to prevent plastic interior cracking in the winter. They work great didn't really heat anything at 40 below but it did prevent cracking
