I use an OpenEVSE myself on both a Mach-E and my Lightning and no issues on a non-GFCI circuit on up to 48A on a 60A line.
There's an on-board GFCI so it's not needed on the circuit, and there have been a bunch of posts on the Mach-E sites suggesting that back-to-back GFCI is very problematic...
my nearest Ikea is between 50% and 100% away so this is good placement for me, plus it's very close to the Interstate with what is effectively its own exit. so this works for me ?
Nothing. I signed the form saying "yeah I know it's not included with the truck" a few days after picking up the truck (I forgot to ask about it at delivery, but remembered later so went back and signed it - I had to educate the dealer to look for it!), and that's it. No e-mail or anything...
what many Mach-E owners do is use the keypad to lock the vehicle - the car will let you do that with a keyfob or PaaK phone (I know we don't have that on a Lightning yet) in the car. Then you can use the keypad to unlock when you come back, but leave the car fully running and locked while...
One other historical fact for EA is that they went with multiple suppliers at start (four, if I remember correctly, but I could have that detail wrong) in the interests of ramping up quickly, and not all suppliers supplied equivalent equipment. (I am oversimplifying here.) The result is that...
I can't speak to the Lightning yet, but the Mach-E, yes, you can "feather" or "modulate" the pedal. The mapping has changed on the Mach-E over time based on feedback, at least once, so it seems Ford might still be working out what it wants to do here.
There are definitely people that don't...
Yeah, that's reasonable.
Because I had no warning, I don't have my down payment ready to go. It will likely be Monday or Tuesday before I can take delivery. If I had warning on say Thursday, I'd be able to pick it up today. ?
Not sure. The unofficial ordertrack.app site has been broken in different ways for me today and the shop.ford site is back to acting up for me. I don't normally look at the reservations list so I can't say when it changed. Sometime today I bet based on last time one of the other two sites...
well, I did order a bed liner, so that's possible.
(in retrospect, after reading things on here, I probably shouldn't have, I probably should have just done aftermarket, but whatever ?)
