Not dangerous as it is the splines under load that slightly shift in the hub assembly , hence the metallic noise , nothing is loose per se just enough “play” to make the noise. Like you said , no vibrations, etc , you are fine.

I think there was a service bulletin on this issue , involves them adding a washer to the cv nut, should cost you nothing . It’s like a metallic clunk when leaving a stop I believe.

Well I guess it depends on what pricing you get. Personally my decision to go XLT(312A) was : Dont want a glass roof(headache) Wanted physical tactile controls for hvac,seats etc. Didnt need leather. Didnt need bluecruise The XLT checked all the boxes and is very well equipped.

Not that I have found …I ended up purchasing after a good test drive anyway .. I drive a ton of different vehicles when traveling for work and usually run into some odd ones here and there but never a lightning .. plenty of teslas and polestars .
