Glad to see others using the charger that came with the truck, I agree it's overkill but being able to go from 50-80 percent in roughly 2.5 hrs or less in some cases is great. I have to get my utility company out to replace the drop from the pole as I was seeing substantial voltage drop to the...
Not dangerous as it is the splines under load that slightly shift in the hub assembly , hence the metallic noise , nothing is loose per se just enough “play” to make the noise.
Like you said , no vibrations, etc , you are fine.
I think there was a service bulletin on this issue , involves them adding a washer to the cv nut, should cost you nothing . It’s like a metallic clunk when leaving a stop I believe.
I wouldnt have looked if I didnt have it on and my co workers were checking it out...i walked around front and noticed lol ...Im sure if i look close enough I could find more issues but like you said some are not worth being OCD about as only I know its there.
So as the title states I noticed fingerprints on my projectors on my 2023 which currently only has 900 miles on it. Is this something you would get swapped out or since it doesnt really cause an issue , leave alone? My gut is I would swap them since it shouldnt have that being the vehicle is a...
Well I guess it depends on what pricing you get.
Personally my decision to go XLT(312A) was :
Dont want a glass roof(headache)
Wanted physical tactile controls for hvac, seats etc.
Didnt need leather.
Didnt need bluecruise
The XLT checked all the boxes and is very well equipped.
So a weird issue I am having is fordpass seems to stop working after the truck is off for a few hours , I cannot lock unlock etc until I either start it or go into accessory. I feel it coincided with adding the FITCAMX to the truck although it may have nothing to do with it. LVB SOC is at 90+...
Absolutely will love not having a bill that randomly decides to go up on a whim when shareholders need more dividends lol…I can’t justify getting battery backup with solar since it almost doubles the cost and the ROI doesn’t seem to be there yet plus we have a truck that’s good for 3 days or...
You sir are lucky lol.. with delivery charge here in CT and on an 8.9 cent rate .. .25 a KW all in, soon to be .30 because they want to make up lost revenue due to non paying customers during COVID . I found a 62kw charger near me that will deliver 50kw of charge for $1.60. I already...
Not that I have found …I ended up purchasing after a good test drive anyway .. I drive a ton of different vehicles when traveling for work and usually run into some odd ones here and there but never a lightning .. plenty of teslas and polestars .
4.2.1.1 rolled in today 2023 xlt er, seemed to happen after removing and re adding truck to fordpass … auto updates are set to happen every day though.
I wasn’t planning on EV back when I rewired and currently only have a 60 amp run to a subpanel, but the subpanel is good for 150 amps , I may have the existing wire abandoned and re-run a feeder to this panel instead of another run or maybe just add another subpanel , it’s in the end the same...
Gotcha , I was thinking the same but having the wiring there to support 100 amps as I want to be a one and done , most likely I’d dial it back as you have since in most cases I wouldn’t need a “fast” charge and not sure the drop from the power company can handle it … I get a voltage drop when I...
I just received notification that my charger pro shipped. I’m on the fence if I need the 80 amp charge or would a 48 amp do the trick . My utility company will reimburse me $500 for a charger (juice box, ChargePoint , etc) in which 48 amp is the highest. They also reimburse $500 for the install...
