Yeah, @4Reeley is right. It was just by chance. It’s been my experience that the three or four folks I talked to within the lightning team were all great. Maybe just luck, but I’d certainly make sure you’re talking to somebody within the lightning department.

@TaxmanHog So with ordering and deal accepting today, what's the typical time frame for the next thing to happen and what is that? Finding I'm entering into a new form of a waiting game.

In Southern California -- had an original reservation with Ford of Upland that added a $10k ADM out of nowhere -- switched to Villa Ford of Orange and confirmed in writing and signed MSRP.

Went to the dealer today and submitted my order in person. They confirmed no ADM and signed the printout with the pricing detailed in addition the email explicitly stating no ADM. By the time I got home, the order status had updated to "order accepted by dealer." So I think this confirms...

Ok, update -- I got a gem of a guy from Ford Corporate -- Gregory. He switched me over no problem and I could see the new dealer while I was still on the phone with him. Did a mock build and also saw no ADM from the new dealer. He did say, he would 100% recommend mocking up the build online...

yeah the dealer allocation is an interesting discussion. I know the wave7 invites were through dealers, but I now have the order, so I’m not sure if changing dealers (even if dealer is out of allocations) will jeopardize my order or not. I can see the argument either way. Also hoping for someone...

Was fortunate to be one of the few to get a wave 7 invite. However, upon working through my build there is now a $10k ADM (after being told for a year, no ADM). I have another dealer lined up that has confirmed in writing no ADM and will honor MSRP but I’m seeing mixed info on switching dealers...

So update on my experience, dealer may be willing to lower ADM, but not remove. In the meantime I have another dealer that’s confirmed no ADM and will honor MSRP. Here’s image of their email. Anything else I should do before calling corporate and switching dealers?

I thought I saw somewhere that somebody said the max tow has some sort of cooling feature which could boost mileage -- is there any truth to that? I'm still trying to get my head around regen braking and how to "maximize" the range.

Yeah good shout -- it's on the "Order Bank Playbook" pages 33/34. I wouldn't pay that -- sounds like BS.

When you decide to extend your reservation to the next MY, does that lock in? Or do you have until 3/31 to change your mind?

Has there been any confirmation on consistency of wave allocations for each dealer? For example, ABC dealer gets 1 wave 1 order and then 5 wave 2 orders. Is it safe to assume that ABC dealer would get 5 in Wave 3 and 5 in Wave 4? Or has it been all over the place? Of course, it would be nice...

I did Ford of Upland -- but have gotten ZERO information from them.
