  1. Noisy Air Conditioner (or Outside Fan)

I saw a few mentions about the a/c system being noisy but I think mine, 2023 Lariat ER, is getting too loud. I've been getting intermittent cooling issues lately too so I may be listening too hard. Attached are some sound bites.
  2. Regenerative Braking--Does it Engage the Trailer Brake Controller?

I finished a trip towing a trailer down a 13 mile downhill stretch (a 2600 ft change in elevation) and I used regenerative braking almost the entire time. Does that engage the trailer brake controller? The brake lights comes on so I eventually just turned the gain way down just in case.
  3. Both Front USB Ports Will Not Charge

The charge pad works though. The same two cables work on the ports at the back of the center console too. Anyone ideas?
  4. Truck Insist on Turning on Pro Trailering

Yesterday out of the blue the truck decided it needed to turn on Pro Trailering because a trailer was detected. It now chimes in that it is trying to detect a trailer every few seconds. When I come to a stop it then wants me to put on the trailer sticker and set up a trailer and go through all...
  5. 10K Miles of Stats

I haven't reset my Trip 1 odometer since I bought my Lariat ER in late July 2023. I thought some of you might be interested in the stats as the truck approaches 10K miles. We had a mild NC winter, I've towed my 16 foot flatbed trailer (3000 pounds or so loaded) maybe 250 miles. Most driving is...
  6. Crazy High Charging Showing in the FCSP App

Note, due to the unreliability of the FCSP app connectivity I essentially haven't looked at it in 6 weeks or more. Today I did a check and I could see "stuff" like usage and such like I should. Note in the image how I somehow used more KWs than my truck can take. I have never had more than one...
  7. 110V Charging vice 220V

Lately I started charging my extended range truck using the Ford Mobile Charger at 110V only because the receptacle has more convenient access. My truck is not a daily driver so it sits idle sometimes a few days. I feel 110 is likely easier on the charger and truck batteries; however, I wonder...
  8. 2 inch Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover

I updated this receiver cover with Rust Oleum vinyl wrap paint. I used the cover like a stamp and saturated a cloth for a pad. I'm not sure how long it will last but I like it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CDPPZ1F1?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
  9. Ford App Attempted to Reroute to Distant Charging Stations When Home was Closer w/o a Charge

Yesterday I had about 30 miles to get home and 90 miles of "charge" left. It was more than enough charge to get home. My crazy app constantly tried to reroute me about 80 miles out of the way (charge station was 40 miles off the highway) as opposed to just staying on the interstate. At every...
