In Canada, the used car market is ridiculous so I can't give you any reliable data. My friend just bought a new Rav4 because it was only 5k CAD more than a used one. If you can find a good deal on A used vehicle then snatch it up.
They have to make a couple gs on that transfer so the value is...
All pickup trucks have a higher rear end to accommodate for box loading and towing. The lightning isn't really any different than any other stock half ton as far as rake goes.
As long as you aren't towing or carrying heavy loads it shouldn't change performance that much except for the...
You'll have to check the clearance. I found last year when I installed some new rims with a positive offset that the clearance to the fender was reduced quite a bit while turning. I'm on 275/60r20. The 20s are great.
They really should outlaw wheel spacers. I would remove them and see if the wheels fit when de modded. The tires are actually a smaller diameter than stock but over an inch wider. If your rims are offset that will also make a difference(not sure if you are on stock rims).
Tire pressure too low. Regardless of what the door sticker says. The grabbers wore evenly at 42 psi. The grabbers were great the first winter, second winter I went with falken wildpeaks.
I would highly recommend against 17inch rims on the lightning. They might fit but the clearance around the brakes is very very tight. The brakes are bigger than a standard f150, hence the 18" rim being the smallest offering from ford.
So, looks like you need to enter your vin for specific recalls. None are showing for my 2023 ER.
Both usa and Canada sites show none for me.
If you select just year and model, none come up.
So far as I've stated:
No lemon law in Canada, you don't like it but it's the truth.
Before that I mentioned you should be wary of your dealer as the systems are seperate and if they don't know that, find another one.
Thirdly, I responded to another commenter that you took out of context...
It's obviously a labeling problem with your home network. An ant miner uses like a billion times more processing power than an fcsp could ever muster.
Your Tesla on the other hand is stealing your data and mining eth 24/7. ?
Talk to your dealer. If it was in for service and now doesn't work then have them fix it.
If they can't figure out that dcfc and level 2 uses 2 seperate systems then find a new dealer.
The truck has disc brakes on all four wheels.
Calipers, pads, rotors. Just like any other disc brake system out there.
Check pad life, check rotors for corrosion or glazing. Lubricate brake caliper pins.
Non regen vehicles can go for 100k km's before needing pads, unlikely to need pads...
