good thing I know the local tire guy, I think that's going to be my biggest expense after the vehicle itself. Did they tell everyone that drove it about the in-vehicle video?
can you tailor the internal sound to play a clip from spaceballs everytime you hit 80 mph?
Anyone know if Ford is planning on scheduling this week? Somewhere I read it was every other week. Still waiting for a build date, and wanted to bump my favorite sad thread.
I wonder if I saw your R1T on 101 around Paso Robles a month or two ago. I've only seen one so far, they are rarer than I would have expected even around the Monterey/Carmel area.
Having the lightning feed the powerwalls rather than the house directly would probably be the easiest solution. I think the powerwall/solar/house system already has 3 way transfer capability, something that is missing from the lightning/solar/house integration. You can't charge the lightning...
Nice job with the site split. One recommendation for once things are stable- we will need to add a problems/recalls section soon since deliveries are hopefully a few weeks away. Nothing is perfect.
I tried to make a change this week and my dealership told me since it was priority code 01 that he couldn't make any changes. Still not scheduled yet but I'm hopeful. he said he could change the code but that might impact build order so I decided not to change anything. So the priority code...
try angie's list in your area. There are usually some electricians on there who are just starting out and looking for work. We have a ton of houses going up in our area so you are totally spot on about not being able to find someone for a "small job"
Good to know you can buy it separately I already own the panels on the house and was considering asking the local company that installed them to put a second set on the front of the house, and install this home integration kit and the 80 amp charger all in one group. The solar companies that...
Does anyone have an actual reservation to install one of these? With vehicles under production starting this week, we should have people with reservations and firm price estimates by now I would hope.
The California Clean Fuel reward website doesn't even have the lightning listed yet as an eligible vehicle. Hopefully that gets updated soon. PG&E also has a rebate program for installing a EVSE but it's income limited.
I was considering the XC90 many years ago before the current generation was released- but went with the GL350 instead. One thing that really impressed me was the rollover video of them crash testing the XC90 in a rollover.
If the bed liner truly were the single point of delay Ford should tell customers and give them the option to remove it via direct email. I bet there's many more items and that's just one urban legend that keeps getting repeated.
good point. trying to increase EVs without parts is not a good idea right now. I'm tempted to punt on my lightning and go with a model Y since I mostly need a commuting vehicle, but the added flexibility of the truck and the space for the whole family and gear for only about 10k more makes me...
I really like that idea of a mattress that has a section to fill the footwells. I guess there's a lot of people who camp in the back seat of trucks and SUVs
