Don't know the exact date of shipping, but I got the "your truck has shipped" email on August 29th. Vehicle is awaiting shipment from Richmond CA to the dealership
My dealership told me yesterday it was sitting in Richmond, CA, which is north of Oakland and a major logistics port. Probably came via rail and is waiting on a truck to bring it down to Salinas.
Is this embark one on the Ford accessories website the same one as the Retrax? How big is the box that these roll into? https://accessories.ford.com/products/f-150-2015-2021-embark-ls-retractable-matte-black-tonneau-cover-for-5-5-bed-1
very interesting thread. I've been debating off and on dropping my Lightning purchase and getting a Y instead. Before the latest tax rebate passing the Y was not that much cheaper than my Lariat ER post rebate so I though the truck was a better deal. I think I'll still get one in a year or...
The rextrax photo on your website that shows cross bars- those are not included right? It's just the slots that give it the future capability to accept racks? This is probably the solution I need for ski gear and skis so I'm comparing to decked
maybe time to try that aftermarket power option. You lose the lights but they won't look like peeling plastic. Aren't these standard fixed F-150 running boards that they have been using for years? Is this problem on ICE vehicles or are these unique to the lightning?
spray in liner, built email arrived Friday morning at 0130, but the website it still showing in production. Blend date was 7/26 and all modules and tear tag popped a couple days later. I think the only reason the deliver is in September is because I'm in a remote area of CA.
that is one way to solve it. Recalls are required by law, warranties are not. We took many cars overseas as part of military assignments and the warranty coverage varied widely in Europe depending on manufacturer if they did anything or not. Oddly enough BMW USA warranty didn't cover squat in...
make sure you are using the 4 digit order number, not the longer one that's on your Ford.com reservation page. I had to dig through the emails from my dealership to find it.
that Canada tracking site is nice. Matches what I've seen elsewhere. I also got a note from my dealership the other day saying the truck was built. i modified my order from the original post on the order tracker and added max tow. Website says in production as of 7/26
