If these issues are happening during the day, could it be triggered by current drops when other items come on rather than just heat? Could the charger reset if the available current drops below some set level and then resume after the demand spike? LIke the opposite of the breaker tripping

He said the charger wire was heating up, that's why I asked. I totally understand the house wiring should heat up, but should the charger wiring also get super hot when not pulling more than rated?

I'm curious if it's only a 30 amp breaker, that means the cable would be even hotter if it were pulling the full rated load?

I think whatever I save on brake pads will be eaten up with my tire cost. If the truck chirps the tires every time you kick the go pedal I will have to replace more often than expected. I plan on driving it somewhere between "I stole it' and "it's a rental"
