I think a lot of the excitement for the cyber truck has been focused on what’s inside, a 48v system, air suspension, steer by wire, etc etc. the tech heavy (read usually younger) crowd fawn over this stuff. What I haven’t seen are reviews showing why any of these things make the car better...
I only drive locally on a currently 120v evse. Would I be better off energy wise just unplugging it when I reach my target charge or leave it plugged in? There are days at a time I don’t drive.
Try this:
1) Get a helper
2) manually pull release once from the cabin
3) have helper lift the trunk from under the front grab location
4) pull the manually release a second time while they’re lifting up
5) have helper keep lifting and pull A THIRD TIME on the manual release
The trunk should...
Yeah I saw that one. I just don’t see where it was showing 2.6 over the last 1200 miles. But thank you! For what his temps are I’d expect better. I pulled 2.9 today in the 50s round trip. Those tires mush be horrible.
I expect it to get better with time. Then again his battery was warm. My charge performance always seems to be better than what Tom gets in his videos so I’ll chalk this up to a fluke or the new cells are a failure for Tesla
XLT with money on the hood are the vast majority of f150 sales, these 60k+ trucks are just not very affordable for most people. It takes time. Ford is learning a lot about building EV trucks on this thing. T3 should hopefully lower the entry price.
