Are you using one of those adapters where you have to switch buses to see everything? That's the only thing I can think of from what others have posted on the ICE forum when this happens.
So here's what that's about.
The ones that say asbuilt are the ones where you would actually change alphanumeric values (hex) individually and then hit the "write" button. Optionally where you have three different lines that need to have changes made you can make all the individual changes and...
Supposedly, the BCM update was to be done before the APIM update...so that walk-away locking was already enabled in the BCM before the APIM got setup to show the toggles in the Locks section. But there is actually no dependency there.
I was soooo lucky I did that BCM when it came out, cause a...
It's your truck reverting to the asbuilt values that are stored in the cloud. Sometimes the cloud server gets updated by the values that are in your truck's modules, and they then become 'persistent'. Sometimes the polling doesn't happen, and the cloud has the 'default' asbuilt settings saved...
I moved my BuiltRight seat back latch from each of the last 4 F-150s I've owned, everytime I bought a new truck. So it's now on the Lightning, with my BuiltRight stubby antenna. :)
There was probably an OTA that shut it off. OTA sometimes do things like that, and you then have to re-enable the feature again.
You'll read in these forums about people whose trucks are no longer charging up to the limit they have set and are now charging to 100%....that sort of thing is also...
Either I don't understand the issue at hand, or I'm viewing it differently.
All F-150s in that build date range are potentially affected.
So applying an available IPMA update (if there is one in your FDRS list) would fulfill that CSP and address the sensor issue as far as they are concerned...
New FDRS update showed up yesterday.
It went from .2 to .6, so I didn't delete my user data during setup since it was a minor revision change. Works great so far.
From the Vehicle Info tab...scroll down to pick the module you're interested in from the table.
Below that is the Module Details section that if you then scroll further down it will list all the packages and strategy, etc. for the software on that module.
Like so...
It shouldn't affect any of the changes you've made. I will assume you've saved your asbuilt files for the modules you modified. If you find that the IPMA update made undesirable changes, you can always put them back. But the benefits of this particular IPMA update outweigh any inconvenience you...
DM sent...and as far as I'm aware, that BCM still needs a dealer tech with PATS permissions to install it. I don't think that will change for that BCM particular update, as it's related to "walk-away locking". I don't know if all BCM updates going forward will require that, but this one still...
Wanted to update my post from last night. I did run a compare myself of the manifest file and what FDRS details view for the RFA module shows, and there are a couple of things I'm not sure about. One of them is the secondary boot loader value listed in the manifest file that is not listed...
According to Jesse on the ICE forum the RFA files in this update were already on our trucks. There is a manifest file that lists the files that would be updated. It’s not easy to read but you can scroll through that and compare those revisions with the ones listed in the details view for that...
Ah..well mine was a different case...I had the second from the left and sometimes the second from the right front sensors going off from the day I drove it off the lot. After the IPMA update I did back in April the problem disappeared. This CSP was released a long time after the actual software...
Well, several of us with Mach-Es sprung for these after the recent "lockout" software issue so we could disconnect the 12V battery. So I put the ratchet one in the MME and the other one in the Lightning. But I'm about to install a battery shutoff switch on the Lightning anyway to make that one...
There is a diagnostic procedure in the workshop manual for checking the sensors using FDRS to see what the distance is that they 'think' they are from an object. You can ask your service advisor to check (413-13A Parking Aid, General Procedures). There are also specifications listed that detail...
