Oh so it just disables the motor movement of the gate itself, not any of the latching functions?
Well anyhow. I think I figured out what was going on. I loosened the driver side striker bolt and in the process it moved around. There is quite a bit of adjustment up, down, forward, and back in...
Huh, I got one with my '23. I always thought it was so you could plug the mobile charger into a twist-lock outlet. I guess I need to take it out of the bag sometime and see if it's even big enough ?
Too much!! Although I found my total premium was slightly less if I added an old beater car with minimal coverage. Multi-vehicle discount.
I do drive that car once in awhile but even if it just sat in my backyard I guess it would be worth it?
Just tried that but it didn't seem to change the gate's behavior. Still requires 2 button presses from the dash/app or 3 presses from the gate itself to open (sometimes more). First press from the app returns a "failed to open/close" message. I assume it's supposed to open on the first press...
Speaking of tailgate stuff, does anyone know exactly where the switch/sensor is that tells the truck that the tailgate is closed? I assume it's in the tailgate itself somewhere - maybe one of the main latches?
The reason I ask is that my tailgate has been super fussy ever since I got the truck...
Well, I gave it a couple hours and no change but pulling and replacing fuse 13 did the trick. Glad to see "turn the power off and back on" is still the most common fix for any computer problem.
This just happened to me. It started up fine, I drove a few hundred feet, hopped out to open a gate (with truck on), drove through, hopped back out to close the gate, and when I got back in the instrument cluster was black. I drove for several more minutes to my home and it never came...
Ugh. I'm about to stick some googly eyes on them to see if that helps. It wasn't so bad over the fall/ winter but now that it's getting sunny I can see that it's going to be a constant issue. Yesterday I drove with only cruise and follow distance on and that kept it from yelling at me. Not...
Trying to figure out what the deal is with sunglasses and the "Watch the road" warning. Anytime the lane keeping is on (either with BC or just regular adaptive cruise), the truck won't let me wear my fake Pit Vipers :( Sounds like it isn't a problem for some of you so I guess I need to try...
Yeah that's what I did. When I took delivery in October it was right around the 'MIN' mark. Over the course of several weeks I noticed it dropping. I filled it up to about halfway between the two marks and it hasn't moved since.
Lol at the "64 volts (amps)" guy, who should definitely NOT be licensed as that is not at all how it works. Residential 240v uses both legs of the same phase so measuring one is the same as measuring the other (assuming no 120v contribution). Have you considered switching it out for a non-GFCI...
Started getting updates recently as well, after taking delivery in October. I do use the BlueCruise occasionally, so it will be interesting to see how it performs after this update. In the past I have found it to be rather "fussy".
I use this so the cabin is warm when I leave for work in the morning. My commute is short so I don't plug in every night.
My eventual plan is to do most of my charging AT work, but I need to sneak in a 240v outlet somewhere :)
I've been taking mine up to the local ski resort. It's about 70 miles each way but a lot of elevation gain. The ER handles it like a champ; if I start at 100% I have about 40% when I get home. It only uses about 20% on the way back since it's mostly downhill. The first time it warned me when I...
Hey all! Been meaning to bring this up, but didn't find this particular thread until just now. Ever since my dealer first walked me through the features of my Lariat, I have had weirdness with the tailgate. Doesn't matter if I'm using the tailgate button, fob, or dash button - usually the first...
Turned mine back on after having it off for a couple days and haven't gotten the error again. Seems like it was related to the heavy rains we were having? Maybe?
My 8/28 build just started doing this today, however I am also in the PNW and as was mentioned above it has been raining cats and dogs. Just for funsies I turned the front sensor off and then back on and then turned the truck off and back on and what do you know, they started working again. Will...
