What adapter? Is that a DCFC or a L2 Tesla destination charger? If you have the Ford provided adapter it won't work at L2 chargers, it is only for Superchargers.

Not sure about Ford but on my other vehicles the Homelink system was powered even if the vehicle was off. In essence same as an old school remote, if they got inside your vehicle they could be inside your house. There are a couple app based tools that are nice.

Running at max should be no issue. There is a very large factor of safety here. The tire manufactures have to plan for people hauling at max capacity and starting off the day with cold mornings and driving into hot days.
