And I'm going to suggest you read mine again. You said you summarized all previous discussiins and stated those who tow should get an ICE vehicle, and others should get a BEV. I pointed out that many who use a truck could well use an electric for the majority of their use, but having only a BEV...
Usage is not mutually exclusive. Usage stretches from Hot Shots to guys who never tow, and everything in between (and far more in between).
For a guy who tows a camper 10 times a year he still uses his truck for a LOT of other things. A BEV may suit 80% of his use case, but is practically...
Nobody said it is "the best app" give me a break. It's YOU who are claiming it's the worst, refuting that isn't in any way saying it's the best. Just because someone refuses your claim does not in any way mean they are claiming the complete opposite.
And see, this is just you expressing that bias towards a lack reliability. Nobody is saying "everything is fine", in fact, you are the one taking an extreme viewpoint, not others. What people are claiming is your views are biased, not that there are NO problems. Because someone disagree does not...
You are seeing what you want to see. I have been a member of dozens upon dozens of automotive forums for well over 20 years. The conversations about issues here are no more or less than any of those were. And I can guarentee Tesla, Rivian, etc are not better than Toyota, etc.
Man, they could do so much more with a simple face-lift and splitting the packs for an 800v architecture. Instead we get a third, and not bigger, battery.
I have personally monitored the brake line pressure when stopping so can confirm the truck uses regenerative braking before the physical brakes. HOWEVER, it is possible the PID used is for the front brakes only.
The reason I say this is that although the front brakes do the majority of braking...
No, not a stupid question.
However, it may be easier if you adjust your mindset. "Miles per charge" is a terrible metric as it depends greatly on where, when, and how you drive. Even ignoring things like pulling a trailer, how many miles depends on your efficiency, and that could be anywhere...
I think this complaint about software is hugely misplaced. The only real argument that can be made is Bluecruise, but frankly anyone who buys a truck for what it could possibly provide instead of what has when you buy it is a failure of the consumer, not the manufacture. Aside from that the only...
Nice. 6112s are on my list too.
Rumor has it the rear struts are just 2018 F150 front struts. I have debated getting a set to see. If so a slight lowering may be just a clip change away.
I use mine all the time. Just yesterday the security guy at the airport dropoff was all concerned when the hood was up as I was pulling my large suitcase out.
A couple weeks ago it was an entire Sams Club run. Granted the 6 bags of water softener salt could have gone in the bed, but the frunk...
There are a few settings buried in the display. There is the AA one where you get your phone list but also one for Wireless projection. It's possible that could have been switched off. There should be a wirless network called PROJ#### or something similar.
There may even be a third setting but...
Right. But like I said, it all depends on bike length. I'm not sure i could put two of my 29er's inside the bed without taking the front wheel off, even at an angle.
