I believe this is entirely possible! The grille essentially comes as a blank anyway. One could easily fire a couple holes into it to line up with the OEM emblem and mount it up!

Nice. I love when a little DIY works out! I agree. Most of the main mount was shaved away for me too. But it held the camera and sprayer which was critical. I’ll have to do some tweaks based off of your work to make it a little better!

Seriously tho. Mine seems to be somewhat hit and miss. My guess is if the truck goes into “deep sleep” is when it maybe exhibits that behavior. Oddly the greeting lights have come on as I walk by the truck in the driveway without my phone or keys on me. ??‍♂️
