Mine only does that if 1- I exit the truck while it’s still “running” 2- I left my phone (PAAK) in the truck. Dunno if that helps at all….

Sad pro tip. Head out early. Like be in n Quartzite around 7-9am. You best chance to not get stuck. Currently there are 3 of the 4 stalls working. Stall 2 and 4 (both 150 posts) are the fastest. The 350 post is de-rated.

Not that it helps the initial issue but that top piece with the gouge in it is actually plastic that can be replaced. It pops in. I don’t know the cost but Certainly cheaper than a whole tail gate FWIW

Way to hold Out! They need to replace things that are obviously a design flaw regardless of warranty. From reading posts about various issues, it appears that it comes down to if the dealership wants to play nice. My 2 cents.

Just got the truck back. As another poster had mentioned. If you Door Fails. The entire assembly needs to be replaced! Dunno what the out of pocket cost is just yet but I’m sure a paint matched piece of plastic from ford ain’t cheap! Thanks all for Your comments??
