In over a year of ownership never really had an issue. Once you figure out the “sweet spot”
tied to lube it a bit. No dice. Thanks for the advice tho!
My door has been a little “sticky” for the past month. Today it would absolutely not open for me. A swift smack got it to pop open but as soon as I close it, Stuck again! Checked the pin and added a small amount of lube. No luck. I can open it with a smack but I guess it’s time to grab back...
There’s a nickel trick somewhere on the forum. You remove the panel at the back of the console exposing the springs. Then with effort you slide a nickel under the spring and the stopper And BAM. It goes up and stays up. I’ll try to find the thread.
On a small side note, have yall ever noticed that an appointment is nearly completely useless? I mean my point guy at my dealership is amazing and overworked but still communicative and positive but as taxman said. Only the middleman between the customer and the techs in the back but EVERY...
Wow. There’s gotta be a better way to push these things. This was my first issue with updates in over a year of ownership and it sucked. I feel for ya. Also agree. The “Help” on the website was generic at best
So for the first time I had several failed attempts to install this update. All of the sudden this morning I get a notification of a successful update! However when looking at the notes, the truck installed the ”drunk chime” update. Did it skip over this one and install that or did it pump...
Seems like most are having a nearly pain free experience with the trucks so far. There will be exceptions but from the mileage reports over the last year I would say Ford did a decent job for their first dive into an all electric truck! (We won’t talk about software updates tho).
With all of us being “early adopters” of this amazing new truck, just curious how many miles y’all have racked up since delivery. Obviously people took delivery at different points over the past year. But hey. Let’s see what’s out there!
I took delivery in June of 2022 in AZ and am sitting...
I’m up in Peoria and actually just got the truck back from the dealer for my 30k mile service and noted that exact same behavior on my truck. They ran full diagnostics and told me what others have said. That the truck is fine. The bars on the left and right of the gauge are the “acceptable...
Agreed but the big problem I’m noticing with plugshare is that people are/can’t flag stations with the default options. I.e “2 of 4 stalls broken 1 charging at 54kw” flagged as a + because they got a charge.
If I recall. They said it was water intrusion into one of the power strut connections which it strange I don’t get a lot of rain (AZ) and only had the truck a few weeks at that point. They also replaced the latch mechanism. I think I was told a slight hood misalignment was to blame too
I was fortunate to be one of the first deliveries as well. Was told that ford engineers took all my old parts for analysis and a possible recall/fix. Luckily for me no further issues 1 years and 30k miles later hopefully they take care of you too
My truck is leveled on larger A/T tires. I regularly commute to work on the freeway (500 mile round trip) from AZ to CA. Speeds on this stretch on the 10 freeway are 70-75mph respectively and stock at “freeway speeds” I would get 1.7-1.9 m/kwh. Not with the truck as it sits at 28k miles of...
Strangely without any prior issues, my truck had been exhibiting the same issues driving home from work this morning. Left work without issue. Stopped to DCFC and was stuck at only 50kw on a 150kw stall(Thanks Electrify America) anyway noticed battery temp higher than it usually gets after a...
After an insane amount of money for a replacement I literally removed it, sanded it and re clear coated it with a very strong 2k clear that has held up very well.
