I didn't read through all of it, so apologies.
In addition to dog mode, how about camping mode?
Or at least make the interior dashboard dimmable when in generator mode.
As soon as you turn the headlights off, the dashboard backlight is no longer dimmable on my pro. Sure, I can turn the 12 inch...
That's what I call a management decision...
You're management.
My .02 cents, replace it. I'd be very disappointed if it went out out of warranty and then failed.
Exactly. Their biggest complaint is charging.
which makes ZERO sense. Anyone who owns an ev wakes up every day with a full tank of electrons.
Only reason stop at a gas station is to use the restroom.
This concept is completely foreign to them, as not having to fill up is incomprehensible to...
I have to say- seems a fair review- but it doesn't sound like they're even aware of that nearly all charging happens at home, and not on the road. Possibly just my opinion, but it seemed that charging was the reason most picked the hybrid at the very end.
I don't know much in this arena, but I've heard mannequin trucks have a 42/42 warranty. If the truck was a demo vehicle, the 42/42 warranty should still apply...
Where is it parked at the condo- a parking lot? No way to run level 1 to the vehicle? Anyway to mooch electricity from work? (With permission, of course)
I recall MickeyAO saying he doesn't go below 30.
I'm no expert, but I'm able to recognize one when I see one.

From the people that test batteries for a living, they say never go below 30 if you plan on keeping your truck as long as possible.
although it's probably unavoidable on occasion, I certainly wouldn't make a habit of that.
Just add a transfer switch, to idiot proof the process. You'll also likely need to wire straight into the main panel (VIA a new breaker ), bond the neutral of the truck to the panel as well as main bond/ground.
I added a transfer switch and a 4 prong weatherproof receptacle on the outside of...
Surprising. Every other lightning owner I've spoken with absolutely loves their truck.
I believe it's only a matter of time until many of the folks who hate ev's today will have one in their driveway tomorrow.
Word of mouth is the best advertisement
Read my mind. Hindsight being 20/20, id have gone in a different direction. That being said, I love the way it looks, and have incorporated the rail/track system of the Retrax into cargo and bike racks above the bed, which i absolutely love.
Mine did this a few times when charging to 80%. It would randomly drop to 50 or 60% after a few miles.
Then the problem just vanished when the dealer replaced the low voltage battery?
I was assuming the low voltage battery voltage was responsible for inaccuracies in voltage monitoring of the...
I live in a medium sized town with two Ford dealerships. Each service dept claim they only have 1 guy to work on ev's. The fact that your problem can be duplicated is terrific for the tech. I hope Ford is reimbursing properly so they have incentive to get it done in a timely manner. Please...
ummm yeah. That's why I drive the gasoline suv (On interstate road trips over 300 miles)
The lighting is the only electric vehicle I own, so...kinda limits the ev options.
Maybe Im misunderstanding? Wasn't trying to make an apples to apples comparison and certainly didn't intend leave that...
Not really that great. Our mid size suv get 27 mpg at 80 mph.
not a comparable vehicle, since I needed a truck, not another suv when I bought the lighting. It's not a close comparison using supercharger prices over 50 cents/kWhr. Gas is cheaper in my suv than my aerodynamic brick using...
Turn the fan off, it will stay off on start-up. Well, it does on my 23. I could have sworn the ac stayed off as well if it was off when I shut down, guess I need to take better mental notes on that one.
