  1. Anyone have Vortex adapter from this manufacturer?

That's what I was just wondering. It says the adapter is $200 on the Ford website. I think that I have 20,000 points for buying the truck.
  2. Anyone have Vortex adapter from this manufacturer?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. And I've been watching his review of the Grizzl-E Ultimate 80A this morning after someone here recommended it. Now I just need to get an electrician over here to find out whether or not I have room for a 100A circuit. In the meantime, if I'm going to return...
  3. Anyone have Vortex adapter from this manufacturer?

Believe me, that's definitely under consideration! ;)
  4. Anyone have Vortex adapter from this manufacturer?

And now this video from someone I'm not familiar with and it's actually the exact adapter that I have. She manages to charge her Ford Transit and doesn't seem to have any issues. Thoughts?
  5. Anyone have Vortex adapter from this manufacturer?

I just found a video from Branden Flasch where he covered some different adapters. He has one from a company called Yomile and it looks exactly the same as mine, except it says LJH instead of Yomile. It doesn't have an interlock switch on the NACS side.
  6. Anyone have Vortex adapter from this manufacturer?

My wife just got me this adapter for my birthday and I can’t seem to find any reference to it here. In the little instructions that came with it, it calls it a Vortex adapter. That seems to be what Lectron calls theirs, but this is branded as LH or LJH. She bought it off Amazon (of course) and...
  7. Ford EVSE finally installed

Thank you! That was exactly what I needed to know! šŸ¤™ Hopefully this helps someone else, especially since I sort of hijacked the OP’s thread.
  8. Ford EVSE finally installed

Thanks, flyct. I’ll take a look at the Grizzl-E. I do feel like the more I find out, the more questions I have. 🤣 The new one I have now is… What is my charge time with a 48A charger vs an 80A charger? That would help make the decision. Provided I can actually GET an 80A circuit, that is.
  9. Ford EVSE finally installed

Yeah, that makes sense. I have the ā€˜23 Lariat ER, so it seemed to make sense to go with an 80A charger. So what do I tell the electrician I need as far as the circuit for the EVSE?
  10. Ford EVSE finally installed

I seem to be following right behind you, Highpi. Only had my truck for about 3 weeks now and have only been using the small plug in charger so far, with a couple of top offs at a charge station near my work. I haven't gotten moving yet on getting an installation done b/c I'm not sure what size...

To the OP, did you already see this listing in the Member Marketplace here? https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/2024-lightning-flash-fs-1st-owner-low-miles-no-mods.29582/
  12. Buying a Used Lightning with High Mileage - Need Some Input

Yeah, at $4K a module X 9 modules, I could see where the insurance companies would write that off quickly. Hopefully the tech gets cheaper as we go.
  13. Buying a Used Lightning with High Mileage - Need Some Input

Speaking of that, what IS the cost to replace a bad cell?
  14. Buying a Used Lightning with High Mileage - Need Some Input

I found a '23 Lariat ER a couple of weeks ago, 29K miles, for $47K. It was the first ER I'd been able to find. Everything else has been a SR. I live in NW Florida and ended up making a 6hr drive up to N Georgia to pick it up. I'd say to keep your eyes open and you might find something with lower...
