I think headrests and headliner are very music dependent. It’s only in certain bands.
I listen to a fair amount of old soul/R&B (think Otis Redding Staple Singers Motown etc) and backing vocals often come through both but especially headliner for that. I also listen to a lot of Americana and...
Realize this is a joke but still wanted to remind people who don’t think of it that way that BlueCruise does NOT operate in the same way as standard CoPilot 360, and that the difference isn’t just a camera.
BlueCruise relies on HD Maps to predict upcoming road conditions, which is what allows...
Dumb question - can you just pop it back in and have it hold? I caught another mirror with mine and the glass popped out and was left hanging by the cables. I just lined it up and pressed it back in and it held, but none of the fasteners were broken on mine - the mirror just came unclipped.
I didn’t know this was the case with standard FX4. I’ll have to give this a try, I usually actually just drop it into 4L and use normal because the trails I’m on have a fair number of small boulders and ledges (maybe up to 12 to 18”) so nothing crazy but enough that tire placement matters...
would love to hear your opinion on whatever you settle on. I was eyeing the Wildpeaks or the Grabbers.
My ideal tire would be 3PMSF but not as aggressive as a Duratracs or KO2. Most of my life is on highway. I off-road but only in the sense of driving old mining roads. Mostly just a lot of...
I only put around 500 miles on them before upgrading to Wrangler Duratracs. They were fine for the most part, though we have a steep driveway at 9500 feet and they didn't always feel confident, especially going down where they would sometimes lock up when braking and slide. Given that I never...
I did Line-X and they did not do tailgate. Mine is pretty scratched up around the work surface now FWIW. It doesn’t bother me but if it would bother you might want to check around to make sure they will cover underneath/around the surface.
All of this. I park on the street and like to turn my camera on during the times I pull in straight so I don't run over the curve and its really annoying that I have to be at almost a stop before doing this.
Got it. Yeah I find it most annoying off road. I turn them on to see rocks and clearance on the sides and then they turn off when the road opens up and I have to turn them back on again. Would be nice to just leave them on. Also bed camera seems most useful when actually driving to check on...
I would suspect the more likely difference is probably not sensors (there is no LIDAR by the way) and more likely the system on a chip package they are using. If there is a difference I would suspect that is the key one. The other sensor I would most likely suspect would be high resolution GPS...
Correct. There are two systems - one is "intelligent cruise control" which you can set to some amount over the speed limit, and it will automatically adjust. I keep mine at 5 over, I think you can go quite a bit higher but I've never looked at how far.
The second is just a "warning", which it...
You can just turn it off

This happens to me every so often and it’s really annoying. The weird part is my stations still show up as “favorites” under one of the menus but they don’t show up at the bottom. Really tired of turning on the car every so often to get Hits 1 and the Highway.
I haven’t found anything specifically but based on a walkthrough I found of a previous generation it seems pretty straightforward - loosen the bolts, jack up the rear, pull the spacer, drop it back down and retighten.
I would doubt it impacts cameras since it is basically just the equivalent...
I haven't done it yet because I've been lazy but my plan was just to drop the rear. I'm going to be a minority here but personally I think lifts/levels look goofy and are impractical. I offroad (no crawling but plenty of high mountain pass mining roads), and have never had an issue with the...
Mine has always been off by 6 gallons when it says empty - it reads empty at 30 gallons in a 36 gallon tank. Other people in forums have said this has always been the case with F150 extended range gas tanks. Would be interested to see if there is a way to fix this.
Let us know what you find. Would be really nice if hardware was same in F-150 and they would allow this. I saw a video of Tremor where you can leave cameras on that. I mostly want the front camera for off-roading, it’s really annoying that it shuts off when you hit faster sections of road. Being...
I don’t think it has rolled out. They announced it a few months ago as an upcoming feature coming by OTA. I’m not sure I’ve even gotten an OTA since they announced. Looking forward to this though!
