Anyone start cross-shopping the hybrid version of the F-150? The hybrid has slightly more horsepower than the standard range lightning and if you consider Granger is doing those for 3% under invoice, if you do the math the differential becomes huge.
For those in despair:
If you order a F150 hybrid you'll likely get it in 22, and if you order from one of the dealers advertising here you'll get it for 3-5% under invoice to boot. I think the hybrid has slightly higher hp than the standard range anyways. So it you optioned them similarly, it...
Ah shucks! Here's hoping for wave 6! XLT standard range leftovers only.

Just received my pre-approval (70s) and came here to see if everyone’s already read the tea leaves and made predictions on the next batch of invitations.
Sounds random thus far. Will have to follow up next week to confirm!
Standard Range XLT Plus ?
The breakdown thus far is interesting. Ford was right on the Lariat Extended range being the most popular, but they made the base XLT too expensive, and the Pro is the 2nd favorite. They were also too optimistic on how many people would bite on the incremental increase...
It all makes sense now:
Lariat 511A Extended - $79,964
Platinum 710A Extended - $92,569
Lariat 510A Standard - $69,964
XLT 311A Standard Range - $54,669
XLT 312A Extended Range - $74,169
Pro Standard Range - $41,669
XLT 312A Standard -$64,169
The dealers are getting 10% off MSRP, you think Ford isn’t making money on the Pro? They know fleet buyers will purchase tons of them, they’re still making money.
No one mentioned in the “wave” invitations it says you can order your preferred configuration. If it isn’t available, you can choose another configuration or choose to wait.
Does anyone think this is sort of like the NFL draft or something? Where wave 1 can choose from the full production plan...
