This was mostly expected. Ford always holds new designs for extra quality control (Batch and Hold system).
F50L is certainly going to have a lot more scrutiny, so probably held on to them longer than normal.
Will see if the next two weeks of builds see a change given that they are Officially...
The Ford Options rates were certainly scary :) But, they've always been notably higher than market rate. I think the lowest rate for mach-e was ~2.25% when you could find loans under 1%.
For Ford's regular financing for the F150, rates are still good: .9% 36 months, 1.9% 48 months. Those are...
+1 for Logix assuming your in AZ, CA, DC, MA, MD, ME, NH, NV, or VA.
Only condition for their APR (which is @ 1.74% now) is autopay (and obviously the credit rating to get it). +1% if you don't autopay. You also need to get a Savings account from them to establish an Account to get the loan...
Pavement princess here as well.
But, considering the trucks off road capabilities, I will 100% take it off road to maximize the value. Part of my selling point to the wife was it would make weekend excursions easier :). Nothing serious, but maybe just to get to a cool camp site or location...
this still around...
Reviewers made way too much of the range calc, and Ford just sat back enjoying the free press of 400+ miles.
Early pre-production trucks likely had some Mach-e calculations for range, with a much bigger battery that produced big range numbers. That's the only thing that...
Standard ICE timelines is ~3-4 weeks from Build for delivery, with build being done in a few days.
No one knows what to expect right now. I think most do not believe Ford is doing chip holds for Lightning, but if it is that could add a couple more weeks to the standard timeline.
Seems like...
Deliveries Starting Spring.... No one promised yours was being delivered in Spring. Spring lasts until June 21st. Everyone hoped a March Spring, but reality was always Spring in June.
Wave #2 orders were all 24+ weeks from order date. Wave #1 was 20+weeks, It's possible that some Wave #1...
Two bit da Vinci review was better than I expected:
Looks like he just drove the car by itself for two to three hours and got about as close to a range test as we would see. He drove 110 miles.
He was driving a platinum, here are his numbers:
1.8 mi/kwh going 75mph.
2.3 mi/kwh going...
Usually there are not people clamouring to charge behind you :)
So you may fail in peace. I spent 15 minutes one morning failing because I was swiping my phone on the wrong thing for payment.
You'll just want to setup and enable plug and charge first.
Then for EA just plug... And charge :)...
Based on my limited review a while ago. I think husky Liners are "best" as they have the most overall coverage but maybe there's an f150 owner here who's used both before.
Husky Liners Weatherbeater Series | Front & 2nd Seat Floor Liners - Black | 94041 | Fits 2015-2022 Ford F-150 SuperCrew...
Pretty sure Ford 100% doesn't care. The "delay" is logistics/quality checks/PR.
They are selling all Trucks regardless of the Tax Credit status for the next 2-years. Certainly some will drop out, but they will just be filled w/ others. I'd personally drop out, unless I was able to order a Pro...
Thanks Tom!
Could you also get nerdy with them and get an answer why the Standard Range doesn't charge as fast? If it had a similar curve, it'd lessen the impact of the range on road trips and take almost 15 minutes off the 15-80% time.
Tom of insideevs podcast today seemed to suggest deliveries would start monday 5/16.
So if things start moving that day, then it's officially the start.
Tom on InsideEVs livestream just seemed to suggest that deliveries (not sure if demo vs. reservation difference) wouldn't start "arriving" until Monday (5/16).
