  1. Glare Free Headlights - Use Case

Yep works just as good when you are behind someone... I bet the driver in the vehicle we are behind has to be thinking, "why the hell is the side of the road lit up so good! This is awesome!"
  2. Glare Free Headlights - Use Case

I only got mine turned on a few weeks ago, but was motivated by the fear of deer. The Rut (Deer mating season) causes a ton a car accidents in my Exurb / Rural area of Wisconsin. You basically just drive down the road looking at the ditches on both sides of the road looking for deer ready to...
  3. F150 Lightning FORScan thread - Version 2

I wanted to pop in here and just say THANK YOU to everyone that contributed to this thread. I finally spent some time implementing a few items and am really enjoying the improvements I've been able to make so far! 1) Enabled Walk-Away lock toggle so I can turn off the "feature" off (that was...
  4. 25SB6/25V731 Rear Lightbar Inspection Post #46

Personally I'm still in the camp of no chance in hell I'm going in for the recall (i.e. using up my recall coupon) until I have a failing light bar that actually needs it. I'm not risking some potentially half ass inspection and letting them on a whim decide if it's correct or not. I'll let time...
  5. "Gen 2 F-150 Lightning" development leaked in Ford employees' Linkedin profiles

I remember seeing comments about them focusing on the Aero but nothing on making it "smaller" per say. Im sure it will lighter, but the functional space I imagine will be the same or larger.
  6. "Gen 2 F-150 Lightning" development leaked in Ford employees' Linkedin profiles

Source? I have never been under that understanding. The new small pickup coming out on the Universal platform is not T3. They are different.
  7. Ford app v6.0.0/6.1.0 FKA Ford Pass, IOS & Android

Similar to @Blochead21 I am, as of today, getting the PPO info on the App. I am on iOS, and have had no updates recently. The only Forscan work I have done is the one to fix the small 360 cam.
  8. FORScan with Apple Silicon Mac, VMWare/Parallels, OBDLink MX+ & USB Bluetooth Dongle

I dont recall honestly... these are the current settings. So it does appear I am in "safe emulation" mode.
  9. FORScan with Apple Silicon Mac, VMWare/Parallels, OBDLink MX+ & USB Bluetooth Dongle

Not sure what the issue might be... I have almost the identical setup and it works fine. M1 Max, Windows 11 on Parallels and version 2.3.66
  10. Ford app v6.0.0/6.1.0 FKA Ford Pass, IOS & Android

Isn't testing that what BETA users are for? Having users have completely inexplicably different experiences on the official public release version causes confusion and frustration and is not a good software strategy. IMO.
  11. Moisture in the tail lightbar

Yep. Validation of what we had determined. Good news that a new recall is issued. There is a seperate thread specific to this recall started, link below. 25SB6/25V731 Rear Lightbar Inspection
  12. 25SB6/25V731 Rear Lightbar Inspection Post #46

Playing devils advocate... I would not assume that, just due to Diminishing numbers. I am just guessing / surmising from the other forum members... but it was not a large % of owners that had the post 1st recall Light bar fail (yet) which is probably part of the reason it took so long to get...
  13. 25SB6/25V731 Rear Lightbar Inspection Post #46

Not saying you guys are wrong at all, but from perspective Ford has lost my trust on how the first failed recall was handled. Based on that, to me it is not wise to get an "inspection" on the light bar if it is currently functioning. Wait as long as you can to delay "starting the clock" on the...
  14. 25SB6/25V731 Rear Lightbar Inspection Post #46

You are probably correct but the verbiage is triggering red flags for me.... Why do you need a fix for an inspection?
  15. 25SB6/25V731 Rear Lightbar Inspection Post #46

Too risky for my blood... a lot harder for them to forget and accidentally do it if they dont have the opportunity.
  16. 25SB6/25V731 Rear Lightbar Inspection Post #46

For what it's worth.... I was thinking about that and now I am going to take my truck somewhere else for tire rotation, I dont want to risk the dealer claiming they "inspected" anything before my Light bar inevitably fails and I can get it replaced under the recall "inspection"
