Yep works just as good when you are behind someone... I bet the driver in the vehicle we are behind has to be thinking, "why the hell is the side of the road lit up so good! This is awesome!"
I only got mine turned on a few weeks ago, but was motivated by the fear of deer. The Rut (Deer mating season) causes a ton a car accidents in my Exurb / Rural area of Wisconsin. You basically just drive down the road looking at the ditches on both sides of the road looking for deer ready to...
I wanted to pop in here and just say THANK YOU to everyone that contributed to this thread. I finally spent some time implementing a few items and am really enjoying the improvements I've been able to make so far!
1) Enabled Walk-Away lock toggle so I can turn off the "feature" off (that was...
Personally I'm still in the camp of no chance in hell I'm going in for the recall (i.e. using up my recall coupon) until I have a failing light bar that actually needs it. I'm not risking some potentially half ass inspection and letting them on a whim decide if it's correct or not. I'll let time...
I remember seeing comments about them focusing on the Aero but nothing on making it "smaller" per say. Im sure it will lighter, but the functional space I imagine will be the same or larger.
Similar to @Blochead21 I am, as of today, getting the PPO info on the App. I am on iOS, and have had no updates recently.
The only Forscan work I have done is the one to fix the small 360 cam.
Isn't testing that what BETA users are for? Having users have completely inexplicably different experiences on the official public release version causes confusion and frustration and is not a good software strategy. IMO.
Yep. Validation of what we had determined. Good news that a new recall is issued.
There is a seperate thread specific to this recall started, link below.
25SB6/25V731 Rear Lightbar Inspection
Playing devils advocate... I would not assume that, just due to Diminishing numbers. I am just guessing / surmising from the other forum members... but it was not a large % of owners that had the post 1st recall Light bar fail (yet) which is probably part of the reason it took so long to get...
Not saying you guys are wrong at all, but from perspective Ford has lost my trust on how the first failed recall was handled. Based on that, to me it is not wise to get an "inspection" on the light bar if it is currently functioning. Wait as long as you can to delay "starting the clock" on the...
For what it's worth.... I was thinking about that and now I am going to take my truck somewhere else for tire rotation, I dont want to risk the dealer claiming they "inspected" anything before my Light bar inevitably fails and I can get it replaced under the recall "inspection"
