I'm going to rewind a bit here. Have you tried setting the route in ABRP and then setting the reference consumption to roughly double? Does it suggest a route? Looking at the map in plugshare, I can't imagine that there's not a route that will allow you to make it, yes you may have to travel...
The boat will fare better than a camper but possibly not by much. Keeping your speed under 65 will help. With the sr battery, 100 miles is probably not realistic. Is the 115 miles round trip or one way? If it's round trip, are there any campsites that have a 50amp RV hookups? You could charge...
I had seen the information from the post above and is why I had said with the upgraded pro power. However, the current website for intelligent home backup doesn't say anything about that being necessary.

7300 dry weight usually doesn't even include all of the options included in the trailer or things like the battery and propane tanks.
Once loaded with gear, water, and everything else, that 7300 is probably going to be very close to 7500 if not over.
Also remember that you need to include any...
You also have to take into account that 200kwh of batteries is extremely heavy. You need to have a stronger frame, larger axles and brakes, beefier suspension components and so on.
The hummer EV weighs some 9000 lbs and essentially an HD truck underneath.
Also Ford claims the $6-8k price...
Exactly. They can only make about 10% of the volume that they can the ice version and they'll sell all of those. They don't really need it to meet the needs of every use case right now. I agree that in the short term, vehicle prices are only going to increase, however in the long term, EV prices...
Personally, I don't think the cybertruck will get produced in it's current form at all. I don't see them being able to manufacture those body panels in any sort of volume.
But that's a whole other conversation.
I'm sure I'll get blasted, but I don't believe the cybertruck will ever get produced in it's current form for under $100k. Especially if they are going to give it 500 miles of range.
What is the overall height and width compared to a traditional style airstream? I know there's at least a few people out there that have towed airstream trailers. If the height and width are less on the Basecamp, then I would expect slightly better economy. If it is just as tall and wide as a...
Remember, the 30amp RV outlet is still only 110v. If you can get a campsite with a 50 amp (220v) you'll be better off. I think someone on here did the calculations and it will take something like 36 hours to charge fully on a 30 amp 110v
Plenty of people have horses or livestock that they aren't going to trailer hundreds of miles.
More relevant scenarios? large boat to a lake close to my house.
Camper to one of the half dozen or more lakes within 50 miles.
Car trailer to the racetrack close to home
Plenty of businesses have...
