There is something off with the picture of the installed battery. In my case I had to turn the battery backwards to that photo in order to connect the positive terminal. It may be that the OHMMU label was put on the opposite side of that battery, but it could be that battery was installed...

The frunk seems to be a weak link, but it is generally fixable. Mine has acted up a few times, but resetting its travel distance has put it back in order. I can explain that process if you are not familiar with it.
