Hit an owl this morning -- damn thing just flew right into my path. Hit dead center and it seems only the Ford emblem on the front took the brunt of the damage. Front camera still works, but the emblem fell off. Fortunately the front didn't fall off and cause a maritime disaster. :crackup...
I was going to say... Have you seen all of the recalls and defects for LG batteries in other vehicles? The Bolt battery fiasco...LG. SK makes better battery than LG.
I recently added rain sensing wipers to my 2024 Flash via the Infotainment system harness and Ford rain sensor and the Forscan settings. They work fine, but I feel that the system isn't as sensitive as I would like it to be. Even at the highest "sensitivity" setting on the stalk can still...
I recently bought a low-cost handheld infrared camera and decided to see what our heated steering wheel and seat look like. This is a lower-cost model, so the pictures are fairly low resolution and somewhat grainy, but it is still quite interesting to see.
Zoomed out steering wheel. Looks...
Just installed new version and it's broken. See screenshot. The app overlays on top of my navigation buttons at bottom and I can no longer access th charging and other features. This new version is complete garbage. Anyone got a link to the previous version for Android?

I wonder about the vibrations you feel in the steering wheel and the ride quality with all-terrain tires? Any thoughts as compared to stock all-seasons?
That depends. A tire with more tread will have a slightly larger diameter than the others. Due to that, a pull can develop, particularly under acceleration, where it should be pulling to the side with the smaller diameter tire.
I am a bit confused. I have been reading threads that suggest that the lightning isn't supported or has issues when starting. I even looked at their discord. Can the lightning use Open Pilot or do you need to install Blue Pilot? Also, I have seen discussion regarding the harness needing some...
I struggled to find a suitable place near the speaker as well. In the end, I made a small flat bracket that I attached the device to via zip ties and then attached the bracket to the truck using the small bolt nearest to the speaker. I think it supports the air dam on the bottom, but it's easy...
After having installed 18" wheels and Michelin Defenders, I have to say I am now disappointed with the Michelins. Notably more high-frequency vibrations (much higher than rotation frequency of the wheels). I think it's the shoulder blocks. Anyway, that was not expected and I put the OE 20"...
