for me, there’s no value and upgrading to a 2025 for features. Would I have is fine. It’s really just about whether or not the incentives are so good on a 2025 that the lease price plus residual give me some benefit over my current deal.
if the deal is good enough, I don’t mind upgrading...
Lariat. Right now in WA state without Private offers, the incentives are about 11k. No different than end of year pricing or the incentives I got on the Mach-E I just leased. I am happy with my ‘24 Lightning. But if the price is right………………………
also, at least here I have not seen lightnings...
I have been checking and ford hasn’t launched fire sale pricing. I think they are waiting to see if the cancelling results in increased demand at current pricing. Let’s see what the new year brings.
Isn’t it the finance and marketing departments that helped steer towards high priced trims and focused advertising on the functionality the truck is least capable of (towing)?
While I already voiced my opinion about Mr. Farley’s leadership on quality and EVs, a little part of me wonders whether he is just saying what he needs to say to pacify the current administration, and whether the next lightning (nearing the end of the current term) will indeed have BEV and EREV...
No new car company that sells very very expensive cars and nothing else will survive. The bottom line is that there are a limited number of people who can afford those cars, and that pool of potential buyers must be shared among a gazillion car companies wanting their business.
Rivian would be...
I did that many years ago with Cadillac. I have heard that ford refuses and puts all the EVs back in a national wholesale program. Anyone here have success with an EV at lease end?
why punish the Mache? At this point it is in its 6th model year (2026), and it’s rock solid. There isn’t another cross over EV I would want to drive. I just got a new one and certainly had the chance to pick another brand if I wanted to. For transparency, the only other car I liked (without...
@Ford Motor Company -
I critical option for ford to offer is for existing lessees to be offered a buyout of their vehicle at a reduced residual amount. This is fair since this announcement impacts Lightning’s value so much.
By the time ford brings this to market and has two years to work out the bugs, battery tech and charging infrastructure will be sufficient enough, this “gap measure for capitulation purposes “ will no longer be necessary.
It’s laughable that American car companies would go this direction given...
I am not sure what to say other than Mr. Farley appears to be a very weak leader, who has been unable to improve vehicle quality, and who flips flops strategy and execution in response to the slightest shift in the direction of the wind.
Most obvious is how he choreographs his future failures...
I’m not worried about the carpet too much., As that is always replaceable. I am limited in terms of raising the height of the southern enclosure as the seat rests on the sub enclosure. Therefore, my only option is to thin out the carpet. I would effectively cut a “U” in the carpet, as opposed...
I have a full-size sub enclosure underneath the rear bench seat of my 2024 lariat. However, because the padding on the floor of the lightning is so Plush, the sub enclosure sinks into the carpet, and the grill covers for the sub drivers press against the carpet on the floor. My plan is to thin...
The only thing that matters is the diameter of the cable and whether it fits in pocket the indoor creates. I believe I posted a picture of my setup in this forum.
Thank said, the install itself should be done by a professional. My only point is that you can keep the charger inside and charge...
