My situation was entirely self inflicted. I had loosely tapped the back of the OBD2 port for power to my comma 3x. While driving the pins I had used came lose and either 12v or ground was making contact with the other pins for the OBD2 port.
My symptoms were exactly the same as yours. However...
Sorry to hear. Good luck. Mine threw about a hundred codes when I had similar errors too. Really sounds like a short in one of the dozens of CAN bus pairs or any of the modules on those CAN buses. No doubt it’ll be hard to trace but mine hasn’t had any residual problems since I figured out what...
So this may or may not be helpful to you but I experienced something very similar to this yesterday on Christmas. Every warning thrown, stop safely, no power, even lost odometer.
Now, I have been working on my truck installing heated/cooled seats as well as rewiring my comma 3 self driving...
Yeah you’ll need to run a power and ground to the SCCM. I did it the official way of pinning out the connector on the BCM and running the wire from the BCM to the SCCM and then grounding it on the ground point behind the headlight controls in the dash. But I think really any power and ground...
Few things to note here. The chargers are separate from the battery. 2022 and 2023 ER trucks had dual on board chargers. Swapping the pack and only the pack from an ER into an SR will have no effect on the L2 charging performance unless you also swap in the secondary onboard charger.
Next that...
Definitely no wiring in the bumper. I just swapped my bumper harness to add adaptive cruise.
There’s the frunk harness that connects the bumper harness to the BCM as well. I highly doubt it has the wiring pinned out either but I’m not 100% certain on that, just very confident that it doesn’t...
Horrible news. Guess my 22 is my first and last Ford. I have zero interest in oil changes and fuel. A range extender taking up the frunk space that I use daily? No thanks.
The voltages are different but close enough (~360v vs ~370v) that it doesn’t make a difference. The battery pack housings are the exact same between all 3 packs so yes the coolant and electrical connections are the same.
Pro Power seems to be something they are slowly rolling out on the backend. I got the functionality a couple of weeks ago on app version 6.1.0 randomly one day without any app update installed.
It is technically a single speed gear reduction transmission.. I'm going to be changing the fluid in both motors at 75k personally. I want to inspect the fluid for metal before the warranty is up.
I think its fine to leave it. Mine was all zeros before I made any changes so I think its a previously unused block for our APIMs atleast. I've left my changes in to enable the advanced charge settings even though its not working for 12" SYNC yet.
You may need some FDRS updates. Its fully working on my 2022. My outlets stayed on with the truck off. There is a timeout period though and it'll lock out the green button if pro power and the truck are both off for long enough.
My truck went to the dealer in June for some HV and warranty work...
