I purchased the following cord on sale from Amazon 2-years ago and use it at the cottage quite often. No issues. It's a heavy duty cable.

Nice to emeet a fellow EE however I’m not a practicing professional.
The EV outlet is a dedicated circuit. We use the charger sparingly when we go up to the cottage maybe 6-8 times a year and usually only charge the truck once to
100% for our return trip home. My place is old and has the old...
I am not sure. I can't use the Ford mobile cord that I have - it always blew my fuse. It's a 40A charger that can't be dialed down.
I have an amproad ev charger that I set to 32A charging which was still blowing the fuses. By adding this panel (no wifi), the fuses, hopefully, won't blow...
I had bought the following during the Amazon Prime days for $120 CDN:

Installed it at the cottage and it has been amazing. I was blowing my 40amp bussman fuses all the time - it would cost me $20 each time I had to...
To answer one of your questions, I have been unable to charge a Tesla Model Y using the multiple adapters from Amazon (from FCSP to Tesla adapter) and connected to the FCSP. I gave up and installed a 240v outlet separately for my wife to charge her Tesla. There are many threads and I'm not sure...
Unfortunately, most campsites in Ontario (Canada) only offer the 30-amp circuit. I'm heading to a campsite July 1st and I have been told by some tesla owners that its a NEMA 14-30 outlet. I bought an adapter and was hoping to charge the truck at 30-amps but not sure - will see if I get lucky but...
Firstly I apologize. It’s 3 awg wire. I’m running a 6awg for my Nena 14-50 outlet at the cottage so I got my wires crossed.
Certified electrician installed this at home. ESA inspected as well.
After using it for 4-months, outside would have been better but there just isn't any place where it would have been installed without some conduit running along the outside of the house. Wife wouldn't have been happy with that. Again, it's a first world problem that I'm trying to figure out.
It’s a 6/3 AWG. We ran a 6/3 to a new subpanel in the garage at 100-amps. From the subpanel with 100-amp breaker it goes to the charger. So 6 AWG handles 80-amps.
Is there any adapter I can buy to extend the length of the charger pro? Mine is installed in the garage but I charge outside. The problem is that I would like to reverse park my truck but I can't because the cable isn't long enough for me to close the garage. Just wondering if there are...
I have been waiting 4 months for my FORD Mobile charger which I am supposed to get Free but they are backordered. I've heard that these chargers are not great as you can't throttle them down. I ended up buying Amproad from amazon and its great - can adjust amperage. However, at $500 CAD I'd...
I plug my vehicle in every night. It starts charging at 7pm and finishes when it hits 80%. As others have said, ABC and Ford suggested it. Plus, the cold winters up here it's better to walk into a warm cabin each morning with an 80% charge. That range quickly dissipates in the cold so I...
