Oh if ONLY I had the money - It'd be a great project for TE to have a backup battery on the house combined with the stuff that the wonderful battery emulator board Dala has been doing (DalasEVRepair) to let EV batteries function as home-storage units.
Also, good to see you here! TE would love...
The reasons behind this announcement are plain to see - and, I hate to say it, a lot of it has been driven by bravado and... toxicity. The same toxicity that's, unfortunately, ruined a lot of things of late.
I LOVE driving electric. I've mainly driven electric since 2006. But I also love...
They'd offered to look at ours, but I don't think we ever got to an agreement on sending it back - it's still here for sure!
For the record, we try REALLY hard to not get any special treatment, and call it out if it happens!
The question I want answered is how quickly you can actually do updates with mongoose and FDRS. Having a Mongoose might be a good investment - but if you can only do two updates in a weekend... :/
I flew to Michigan once for the launch of a car… stayed with someone I knew in Lansing and borrowed one of their bikes to ride into Detroit.
Scariest ride, ever.
For you… maybe.
For me? I live in the coast range in Oregon. We sometimes get fog that reduces visibility to less than ten feet. That’s why I’m looking at SAE approved fogs.
As for the rear? Hoping it will help prevent rear ending when in areas where people drive too fast and too close in the...
Ramps, a proper wheel stand, and if you value your suspension and your truck, canyon dancers.
Oh, and if it doesn't fit in the back without the tailgate down, make sure you disable the auto up-down.
I've also towed with my bike in a garden trailer, but that was when I went to the DMV for...
I’ll probably put them up front near the air intake but not blocking it. As for brights? NO. fog lamps are not meant to be used like that. SAE approved ones are designed to give a wide low spread in fog…. You use them with dipped lights.
I’ve never understood why anyone would want to use them...
Welp, I ended up ordering the switch.
For those playing along at home, the closet match for me (I have a '23 Lariat) is LB5Z-11654-TC. If you have a newer Lightning with the right/left mirror zonal lighting on the light cluster, there are other options that should also translate - based on my...
Maybe ford will help us install them instead …
I know Patrick and Liv were impressed but the chances of this happening are… zero. THat’s a shame because it seems a really good system.
I’ve had to twist some arms with my FSCP problems. Hopefully I speak to someone next week.
There are many reasons why, but the latest is a proposed bill that you can’t have multiple citizenships. It will likely not pass, but of my passports I’d have to choose one…
I'm curious too, but let's be clear: the front fogs are for situations where glare-free already struggle.
I grew up in a place where front fogs were optional and rear fogs were mandatory. I had it drilled into me when and how to use them.
Up here in the coast range in the PNW, we get HEAVY...
I'm most certainly a "no". I'm in my late 40s. My partner is in their mid-50s. We want a chance to retire - at least if we don't have to flee this country. (I'm a triple citizen, so look up the news).
Our goal has always been to pay off all our consumer loans int he next two years, and then our...
But did we examine why?
Because, as an industry insider, I have many ideas.
1) Ford promised a low-cost version that excited pre-orders, then locked out the Pro trim extended range to regular customers (and put the price of the standard range up).
2) Ford pushed the high-end models...
