It got mine too. My times were set to match super off peak night time rates and max SOC of 90%. There are notes telling me to AC charge to set location then I can fix times and max. I will charge tomorrow (Saturday) at off peak to initialize.
Un-effen-believable.
I only ran into one person who even knew who they were. It was in a bar in Kƶln after work while talking about the Doors. Two American drunks beating the intro to My Little Red Book on the bar then singing it.
Thanks, brother. You brought back great memories.
I think anything put out on Elektra records is also suitable...like...
The Doors, Paul Butterfield Blue Band, the Eagles, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, Metallica, Phish, Phil Ochs...
There was another obscure but good band. LOVE, with Arthur Lee. Forever Changes.
Granted, my data set is very small. My normal travels utilize EA at Bedford exit of PA Turnpike beside the Sheetz, Hagerstown at the Walmart and Sterling VA beside the Sheetz.
All have worked effortlessly with Blue Oval. If I have a complaint itās that they are crowded during normal travel times...
If you need 80 but can only deliver 48, youāre SOL
if you only need 48, you can wire for future 80. But who knows what the top rate will be in the future.
In your shoes I would opt for cheap 2nd hand FCSP If you want capacity for 80.
I bought exact same orange one two years ago. Works great. But I use weighted hockey pucks I got from Pittsburgh Penguins practice sessions years ago. Non slip and a little more height.
Iāve had Ford pickups since 1981. I like the Lightning much more than my almost identical 2015 F150 Lariat Supercrew ecoboost. I was hoping to move into a Ranger BEV. I doubt that will happen.
Back in the late 60's, a friend had a 1960(?) Alfa Romeo Giullieta Spyder Veloce with no redline. The tach pegged out at 8000 rpm. No turbo. Dual overhead cams. road like a brick on wheels
Much more work than I planned to do. Hahaha. Looks good.
My back of envelope scribbles got me to 100 bhp for Gen set of 40% efficiency.
Like you say, it aināt gonna be a Briggs and Stratton lawnmower engine in the bed of the truck.
Just for giggles for our engineers here:
I want to drive 80 mph for 5 hours straight in my new Lightning EREV. Nice conditions but getting 1.25 mi/kwh (these are what my physics prof used to call āniceā numbers). I have a 200 kwh battery (hahaha, like that will happen). I like diesel fuel to run...
Well, thatās bad but anticipated news.
I donāt blame Ford for what they think the market will be.
The Edsel was one of the finest cars of its time. Just ugly and expensive.
Iāll keep mine as long as itās economical. I donāt marry my vehicles. Itās just a truck.
Letās keep this site alive...
