What's great about the light is it's an F150 so most the body parts are interchangeable. The only problem that I can see is after the 8 yr 100,000 mile warranty has expired. Until then I'm not worried an because of that I evb extended my bumper to bumper to the 8 yrs. That will get my 2022 to...
  7. Real-World Home Power Backup Options Using F-150 Lightning

Even if you could make the truck a floating neutral that would be dangerous when using it to power anything. Keep in mind the truck is the same as a main service panel and should always have a bonded neutral for saftey. Without a bonded ground on your truck you could get an electrical shock if...

  14. Storing Lower-Cost Energy in Your Lightning to Power Your Home and Returning Power Back to the Grid

Mine is a 2022. I haven’t tried to power my home for awhile but I'd have to start my truck , to get the screen to appear then start Pro power then go to vehicle and turn off the shutdown timer.
  15. Storing Lower-Cost Energy in Your Lightning to Power Your Home and Returning Power Back to the Grid

  16. Storing Lower-Cost Energy in Your Lightning to Power Your Home and Returning Power Back to the Grid

That's exactly what I do. I used to use my excess solar energy to power an electric hot water heater that I installed prior to my natural gas water heater. Now I use the extra energy to charge my lightning.

I just plug my home into a generator receptical and into the 7200 watt 240 volt bed receptical. Flip a manual transfer switch and I'm running off my truck . Granted i only have 7200 watts available to me but it powers my deep well pump just fine , all my lights fans , tvs, computers and limited...
