Not just west, Mississippi is terrible coverage away from main areas.
And I get it, you love your SR Pro and tripping, I've read you stories and respect the dedication.
But there are over 620k sold F150 ICE this year so far that never need to plan gas stops. It is effort and just isn't...
All CEOs are like this with reacting to shareholder value needs. That said, at 34k miles on my 23 XLT ER, I'm very happy with the truck, the road tripping is just not ready for most consumers.
I honestly do wonder if Ford could have saved more cost buy using g the exact same body as ICE...
So you are almost paid off to own the Honda and now you are going into a lease, which you won't own at the end after those payments and have nothing to trade in? I'm not a lease person and feel ownership is best to be. $599 / month is pretty big payment to me for something I'll never own...
The Flash for similar price is better deal, I'm one that does not like the large screen as it became a problem in my Mach-e after 27k miles and dealership never fixed it. I went 23 XLT ER because of this experience. The pro er needs to come down at least $5k to be a better deal. The duel...
Get the dealer to throw in an 8year 100k ford extended warranty. Don't bother going past 100k miles as that is the limit on the battery and it can't be extended with a Ford extended warranty
If you want a truck and don't trust the site, then go to a dealership you want to work with and order it there. I'm very sure most Ford customers aren't interested in online orders and goto a dealership, which is an advantage vs Tesla IMO.
Since the battery warranty runs out at 8 years 100k, I don't see any reason to go extended past t he same.
These do go up as years and miles increase too, I've bought 4 and best deal is within 1st year.
I went with Zeigler and painfully discount for 8 years 100k miles last night. Based on no way to extend battery warranty I'll be selling before 100k for sure.
A heat pump is not a miracle to our range impact in winter. You should plan on 30-40% reduction to advertised range. Real world range is almost impossible to get even out of winter. You will be in very low m/kwh. Plug the truck in every night, charge to 100% and set departure times when...
This is great, and my progress. I ordered SR Mach-E in 2021 to try out as a 3rd vehicle, I wasn't getting rid of my awesome Ram 1500, and could afford a 3rd car. We discovered we really liked the EV, but range and size weren't good for us. Then the price drop and on our commute my wife said...
That is the most popular configuration for sure, but most buyers are not jumping into an EV truck for many reasons like you say which makes it very niche to me.
The Lightning is a niche truck that meets certain use cases but not the bulk. True that it probably meets more people's real need but that is a hill not for today. Honestly I'd like to see a slow of EVs on the road and see how the Tesla charging really impacts us first. It's an old an...
Here is my thought and lack of understanding. The up front at point of sale sounds great and all, but the $7,500 has never been fully guaranteed by IRS. For my Mach-e my taxes owed was less then the max rebate so I got less. If everyone takes the max $7,500 out the door I fear you could have...
XLT is way better long term to me because it basically matches the current F150 tech and avoids the large screen that on my Mach-e got buggy this year before I traded it in. If you need leather look up Katskin, they did a custom interior for my Ram in 2014 and was amazing for way less to upgrade.
Glad to see you do homework, a lot of very upset people with towing impacts. I held my 2014 Ram 1500 for past 2 years with my Mach-E as my 1st EV experience. After 31k miles on the Mach-E and 127k miles on the Ram, with really only 2 times I ever did any serious long distance towing, proved...
