I have two Tesla wall chargers at home my Lightning has no issues. My Rivian first goes red on the initial handshake then cycles to blue. Itās the waking up of the vehicle that is the fault. No need to imply and plug back in.
Well I guess Iām buying the Sierra Denali EV next. Iām done with gas and never going back! I love my lightning. The range is tolerable but I really like GMās charging speed.
The last thing I want to deal with is the complexity of the gas/hybrid system, the additional maintenance and costs of gas. Too many negatives. If or when I change vehicles it will be another all electric pickup or SUV.
I have three A2Z adapters for Tesla chargers to charge our J1772 cars. Awesome company. Go with those for sure. The adapter you need is called Th Atom. It ās J1772 to NACS.
Itās a special rate plan that actually penalizes your use during prime time periods if you charge. Here is the document. They have had rebates in the past for chargers. I got a Siemens charger for free back in 2012 and the a Tesla charger in 2021.
Does anyone know the type and size of the screws used to secure the wheel well liners. I added mud flaps and ended up losing one. I used to go to my local Ace Hardware but itās been taken over by new owners who shrank the old school hardware section and made it a home goods section.
You need to do an energy audit of your home. Then you need to also see if there is any special rate plans for EV owners. I am on one in Georgia. I live in a home that has 4 EV's. 1 Rivian, 2 Mach E's and my Lightning. We have two Tesla wall chargers and charge between 11pm and 7 am.
Back from the dealership after 4 days. My battery ended up fine. They repaired my passenger seat which took the time. They updated all my missing updates . I figured it out the issue is with short trips and long time between charging sessions that ran the 12 volt down low. I guess I will go...
Iām hoping they eat it since my truck is two years old with 28k miles. Iām thinking they are also going to load the failed updates since they said they may need it overnight.
I tried leaving my truck running for 7 hours with the fan cranked to 7 with no luck. I then had my truck charging on my home Tesla wall connector for two hours before the update with no luck. I threw in the towel and scheduled a battery replacement at the dealer for Monday morning.
My 2023 Lariat is not completing any over the air updates due to the 12 volt battery state of charge. The car runs fine otherwise. Do I need to replace the battery or is there a way to increase the state of charge? I mostly do short trips of under 20 minutes at most.
