  1. Most Ford F-150 Lightning Customers Came From Retail In 2025

Kind of a ho-hum nothing article. So the best sellers were state, local and federal favorite escape, police and fire favorites the explorer and expedition and so on. Probably the same breakdown year over year in the same sectors with the same models. Oh it’s an 80/20 split retail/commercial for...
  2. Ford Lightning cancel you think Ford owe us a little love.

They should’ve offered buybacks, probably will in a few years
  3. Ford Offering Discounts Amid Record Recalls

Massive? Overstatement of the century. This is hard because I can’t come up with something worse than too little, too late. I’m gonna go by a dealer and try this. I have an explorer that has had issues.
  4. Will the tariffs affect prices currently on lots?

Similar thinking happened with gas prices long ago. Then when demand went to almost nothing because of the recession it was like they couldn’t give it away. If you’re in a market that they (evs) don’t sell well you’re in a good spot. If you’re in one where it’s competitive then expect a markup...
  5. Will the tariffs affect prices currently on lots?

If you want it, get it. Tariffs will be problematic, but the dealers are still in big trouble from COVID. You can squeeze them right now, especially the ones in smaller areas where a lightning doesn’t sell well.
  6. Re: Ford Power Promise

I saw the bump and realized that I hadn’t been on and active with this. first, I do have my very own ford power station pro, installed in the best possible location On the interior outer wall of the garage. next, the setup of the app and charging station. The app along with the hardware from...
  7. UNBELIEVABLE

The market for anything expensive that you have to finance is extremely limited because credit is a problem for people with decent credit. Additionally, while we as ev owners may be enlightened it took a little more than a nudge for most of us to get here.
  8. UNBELIEVABLE

They’ve got a lot of pressure to move them. When I bought mine I felt that some dealerships were embracing the fact that they had no chance to move them and heavily discounted them. Others did not. For any vehicle, but certainly an EV there is an extremely limited market as the credit...
  9. Re: Ford Power Promise

That sucks and is similar to my experience. Again I do hope that whoever is monitoring the ford account sees this and potentially can work it from their angle.
  10. Re: Ford Power Promise

Best to summarize this with an answer to the last question, which is it appears so. I am able to directly contact the service provider in the area. Conclusively, I hope that this is more of a cautionary tale for those of us in here who are fairly new owners who are or will be dealing with this...
  11. Re: Ford Power Promise

That wasn’t their doing either. I had to go online take the pictures and set it up. I guess they sent my paperwork, but that’s what they were supposed to do anyway. Again, my experience is likely different.
  12. Re: Ford Power Promise

So to eliminate confusion on this. The dealer had them in stock, many of them, and was not relaying information to me and I’m assuming other customers. This is a 100 percent dealer internal thing that I’m sharing with everyone. I have the charger and it only took me talking to the general...
  13. Re: Ford Power Promise

while I appreciate the benefit of the doubt you’ve given the dealer, actually it was option 1. There wasn’t an email, coupon or phone call. Additionally when I called them which was about every two weeks about it, it was the runaround everytime. When I finally got my email about doing the...
  14. Re: Ford Power Promise

So I recently posted that I would be getting my ford power promise installed today. Got the quote, person shows up to install and when he gets to work he says “where’s the charger?”. Thinking that this was rhetorical and that their business would not have sent them out without having...
