I have no use for these cameras or any recording. Up where I am we never lock the house, or truck when home or at the store. There are some good people left that leave others stuff alone but the numbers are dwindling
We tried it camping hoping it would stay on, no luck. Called Ford and talked to an engineer and again NO. So we just use the phone hotspot. Nice looking Airstream you got there.
Mine would show the channel moving but it would take 20 seconds or more for the sound to catch up. After two days of this I did a hard reset and all is good. Now I have to figure out why the dash display is stuck on Eco and not the speedo, cant get it to change back, the My View options are all...
Its a stupid way to have to set the volume. I figured out the phone after the GPS was driving me crazy being so loud. The phone and GPS work the same way to adjust the volume. For the GPS you have to wait until its talking then you can adjust but only when talking, same for the phone if ringing...
Mine has done this since day 1, dont use Apple maps just what's default on the nav system. Its nicer to get the update right in front of me versus looking over at the screen and trying to figure where I am before running into something.
I think most of these people have to much time to do nothing but bitch about a truck. All I do is drive it and 36 months later its gone. As long as it runs I will never go back to a dealer for all this little crap, not worth my time.
The 2021 has a fish eye lens to get a wider field of view to catch cross traffic for the warning system. My 2018 view was a much narrower and more clear. Hell its only a backup camera and the quality is good enough. Careful if you swap cameras the warning system may not work as designed.
