Is it really an actual photo of each truck rolling off the line? Given they can't seem to get the messages out correctly, I've always suspected that they just have stock photos of each model and color option.

I haven't heard about this happening in a while. But I just got this email last night...for a truck I took delivery on July 11th! Clearly Ford still hasn't figured this out. Perhaps this explains why I haven't received any OTA updates. Ford thinks I don't have it yet :rolleyes:

Yes, but you benefit from the price reductions. Some of us were not so "lucky".

For most states that have these rules, the period is 3 business days. If I was within the 3 days, I'd definitely be going this route.

In looking at the coverage options and details, I see this under "Hi-Tech", Instrument Cluster (Excluding Dash Pad) What is considered the "Dash Pad". Where would I check to make sure the 15" dash panel is covered as that would be the part I'd be most worried about both for cost and durability?

A few months ago in another thread, one owner described a trip where his Lightning finally arrived at the lake, including pictures. Well, mine has finally arrived at the lake too! But it's staying! We live here.

Sigh...yes. Going over details with dealer tomorrow. Will probably have it tomorrow or Tuesday. While it arrived at the dealer last week, they had a whole truckload of vehicles delivered with it. Between holiday week and short staff, took a while for the prep.

X-plan was also an option for me. If used, the incentive reductions go away with the cash payment option and the X-plan savings is $77. So not really a viable option there. But if I finance some, I still get the $1500 off and another $77 for x-plan (Hey! $77 is still $77 :-) )

The days of ADM and the other games appear to be over. As I prepare to get my truck (finally!), Ford is now offering incentives and low rate financing on Lightnings. Until the end of July, cash buyers can get a $1000 incentive reduction. Those who finance can get $1500 and below market rates...

Chomping at the bit to do so. But my dealer and sales person have been great so far. I'm willing to give them a post-holiday grace period. I know they'll be in touch.

Guess it is real. Started getting FordPass notifications from the truck this AM, including activation message. No contact from dealer yet but that doesn't surprise me. They were not open yesterday and I would expect they want to prep/check things before calling.
