You can thank the Teamsters Union for those delivery prices. Funny thing is delivery price is the same to deliver to a local dealer in Dearborn or a dealer in Hawaii.
I laugh every time someone complains that Ford has not contacted them about their order. They act like Ford is supposed to reach out to tens of thousands of buyers and give them weekly updates. Scheduling can change day to day with part shortages and that's not going away any time soon. The...
If you can find a dealer with any. They call them courtesy vehicles now a days, most of the time its managers that drive them or they can be loaners and sold at 4000 miles. My local dealer which is very big doesnt even have loaners for service anymore, no demos, no nothing. My rep said its to...
This must not be part of the franchise agreement between Ford and the dealers otherwise it would be a moot point and easy to enforce. Since many dealer are just trying to stay open with no inventory to sell they have to ask more. Will be interesting to see if anything happens.
I was at my local dealer and talked with my commercial fleet guy, asked him why they now have hardly any used vehicles. He said they have heard used prices are going to tank soon and they dont want to get stuck paying high prices then losing when they do. This dealer in the good days would have...
Just remember the Bronco of 2021, big numbers promised and missed by a mile. The chip shortage is far from over, only time will tell if they can hit that number.
The dealers getting cut out of the picture wont happen for a long time. Look at all the winers on just this forum, everyday someone it bitching about something not right and looking to have the dealer fix it. Yes the EV has less major parts but its usually the little things people want repaired...
Ford doesnt do hard copy manuals anymore, the 21 F150 its part of the Sync system. But sometime down the road someone will have it online but that is many months away.
That all sounds good but put yourself in the dealership owners shoes. If Ford called me and said no more car sales just repairs I would laugh and say go pound sand and say goodbye. I dont think small to medium dealers would survive on service only, maybe the big guys with several locations but...
With the current pricing I am so glad I dont have to lease again for over two years and hoping this BS is all behind us. I will never pay anywhere near MSRP no matter what let alone over, nothing is worth that.
If they kill the Pro Model many fleet orders would be canceled, not likely to happen. All these what ifs over and over, when the day ever comes that ordering opens the answers will be answered, at this this time nobody knows much of anything, its all a guess.
We all know better, I still believe no deliveries until late 2022. So much BS on the internet, these supply shortages are not going to get better anytime soon.

Ford’s Lightning order numbers don’t include fleet buyers, which means it’ll be sold out forever

Ford is going hard on electrification, with a solid...
Its simple, there is nothing to update at this time, everybody wants info like they are the only one with an order. When they have something new and need info from those ordering they will ask.
I still dont see the Lightning arriving before the fourth quarter next year. Too many problems with suppliers that cant deliver and that's not going to end any time soon.
