  1. Lightning E-Rev 690 to 700 mile range

I agree. Long distance towing, heavy equipment hauling and towing heavy equipment is done with a 250, 350, or 550 because of the suspension and brake system is made for towing and heavy loads. Ford should have made a generator as an option not mandatory for the all electric F150 pickup trucks...
  2. Important Update: Ford EV Roadmap & Future of F-150 Lightning (EREV Next Gen Model) - ā›”ļø ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS

I agree. Ford made major mistakes with the roll out of the F150 Lightning by forcing dealerships into ā€œFord’s planā€ for only certain dealerships allowed to sell EV’s many dealers did not like that and it caused resentment towards EV from some ford dealers. Ford eventually decided after the...
  3. Important Update: Ford EV Roadmap & Future of F-150 Lightning (EREV Next Gen Model) - ā›”ļø ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS

Not everyone wants or needs to tow or drive long distances. Why don’t you make it a option to get a EREV with a generator and a option to get a EV truck without a generator? This would solve everything. Most people who tow heavy loads drive a F250 or a F350 or F550 because of the additional...

Most people who tow regularly don’t drive half ton trucks. They drive 3/4 or 1 ton trucks. Farley’s decision is incorrect. Ford should invest in charging stations.
  5. Ford CEO Jim Farley Outlines Where EREV Tech Makes Sense

I think it’s foolish to assume that everyone wants a EREV. Why don’t they have this as a option? Just like the interior options, XLT, Lariat or Platinum. My next purchase will never be a EREV. I don't want to buy gas or oil ever again. The way of the future is all electric.
