While specific frequency data for towing distances over 50 miles is not publicly standardized, broader surveys of light-duty truck (pickup) usage indicate that most owners rarely use their vehicles for towing of any distance. [1]

Driving 300 miles or more in a single day is a rare occurrence for the average American driver. While exact daily counts for this specific threshold are limited, national travel data consistently shows that the vast majority of trips are much shorter: [1, 2]

You are the one who said hopping in for a 200-300 mile trip was a use case car companies should plan for, not me. And then later in the same post you said for these long trips, that you brought up, aren't even as efficient as an ICE truck. The EREV will be worse in battery only situations than a...
I can relate because I am a value buyer, but with transportation it didn't take long to realize that it is smarter, cheaper, and logical to focus on the 95% use case and then figure out other strategies for the 5%. Rental car for long trips, rent local instead of tow (RV, quads, boats, etc.)...

Good point. I am using just a generic generator input into a 50Amp breaker.
I did think the Generac transfer boxes did work directly plugged to the truck.
This is not electrical advice but what I did was remove the ground from the cable and it won't produce the ground fault anymore. I snipped off the end, cut and capped the ground, and reinstalled a new cord end. It will now only work with bonded generators and/or my Lightning.
I got the same alert and already got the update. When I click through it shows no open recalls or updates available. Must have been a mass push notification to anyone owning an lightning.
That sounds like a weak 12V battery? Do you leave it plugged in when parked? Or leave it for a long time between driving? Or only drive very short distances?
Is your phone paired to another nearby car through Carplay or Android Auto? Maybe it quick pairs to that before you get your truck? Your bluetooth and wifi are on?
I donāt have the rotary shifter but was shooting the shit with my tech during the update and he says it shouldnāt matter because it is Ford genuine part and he has seen a few already in his travels. He also said if I get stuck you can manhandle the GSM back up vertical if you are stranded, he...
