Gah, sorry. I typo'd. That byte was already a 1. This is from my original BCM file. I had not changed anything in the BCM prior to enabling Welcome Lighting.

Seems like such a minor thing to not have enabled from the factory. The fob detection isn’t perfect. Occasionally it doesn’t kick the lights on, but overall it’s nice to have it enabled.

That was it. I changed mine from xxx3 to xxx7 and now the Welcome Lighting toggle is available. Thanks!

I think Ford is just having some struggles on the app/website. I got the letter in the mail on Friday for the recall.

I believe only the trucks that have PAAK get the Bluetooth controls menu for the frunk and tailgate.

When you approach. It should detect a nearby fob and turn on all of the exterior lightning as if you had pressed the unlock button on the fob.

You bet. And then plug the green connector back in when you're done. Forgot to mention that lol. Disconnecting that plug disables the high voltage system in a safe manner. The below page is from Ford's guide to the Lightning for emergency responders.
