This is when I do have some glitch reconnecting.
I've found that simply reconnecting through the truck interface seems to work best, vs waiting on it to figure out on its own it should reconnect.
Having BC on in stop and go traffic is not unlike an airplane autolanding...the whole time you should be on edge waiting for it to eF up.
I'm enjoying the latest BC, but I use it at hwy speed and generally kick it off if the traffic becomes stop & go as I can do that better.
I've had that happen, it went away after a reboot.
I keep hearing there is/will be an update that enables long term selection, but I'm not aware of it yet.
I planned to have my dealer pick up my truck and do this sensor update and the 10,000 mile.
They no longer pick up vehicles (people shortage).
They offered a mobile service...sure.
Then they called and said the mobile vehicle doesn't have the right jack for the lightning.
I didn't ask questions...
I think this is a dealership-in-general thing. From BMW to...whatever.
I will say, the mobile service from Ford has been great.
Also, my dealer will grab my truck from the airport when I'm gone X days and take care of stuff.
You = my truck
That clicky feeling = the haptic feedback on a garage door (iHome?) button.
I use 2 buttons frequently.
1 lost the haptic feedback and is a mushy push.
Has anyone dealt with this?
Not a big enough deal to leave my truck at the dealership.
I won't let me dealer wash my truck.
When I took delivery there was wax in all kinds of places and on all kinds of black plastic.
When they took it to do my steering heat I specifically asked that they not wash the truck. The gal said "yea, they guys that wash the vehicles are not employees...
This is what I did...fortunately they sent a mobile tech to do all...but...one (heated steering).
Then while doing heated steering later, the frunk module eFd up, so now I get to do that...when...the...part...arrives....
The dealership grabbed my truck to fix/add heated steering.
they said during the software update the frunk ajar module wouldn’t update. The Part is back ordered for a few weeks so now it will say the frunk is ajar and only operate manually.
has anyone had this happen?
The easiest thing to do is ignore all the talk of everybody except you getting updates.
Then, be happy when you finally get one.
I'll say, I can't say a single update has been memorable after the fact.
There is no need to delete your profile.
In the truck, switch to the guest user profile.
Select intermittent wipers.
Then they start working as they are supposed to.
Also - while for a few days the wipers did do a courtesy swipe on start up, that no longer occurs.
I think it is worth noting that in the recall notice where it says:
"Parts are now available to repair your vehicle"
That doesn't actually mean you dealer has the parts.
More specifically that doesn't mean *my* dealer has the parts.
Fortunately, they'll now call me when all the parts are in...
