The last coming flood was when Hertz sold off their fleet of Teslas (renting an electric car, not my idea of fun).
I don't pay any attention to the used market, but I don't think it was terrible for the used market.
I, too, was annoyed/disappointed when going through the wringer in the finance office and found this out.
I had to remind them I paid a deposit.
I asked about the military discount.
They didn't go into detail, but basically said, not on this vehicle.
Mine, purchased in Middle GA, sat on the lot for about a week as it arrived the day I left town.
It did show in their online inventory, but it was never driven.
Picking up now. No spare tire lock. No frunk net. Not 100% sure the net is included. Mobile charger is in frunk cooler area.

Since I know my truck is at the dealer, and I won't be home for a week, I decided to look and see if it actually shows on in my dealers inventory online. It does. It shows the MSRP but they have $799 added for "Service Fee". Guess who won't be paying a service fee....
My truck arrived today...and...I was at the airport.
So, I'll get it next week.
I know there was talk that activating the truck while in transport might not be a good idea, but did anyone do it when it was at the lot before you picked it up?
I decided to look at my dealers online inventory. My truck isn't there, but they show a Lariat with these wacky numbers. They also had a link to the sticker.
My excitement bubble has been popped.
Yes, I still want the truck.
Now that I'm for sure into January, the excitement of tracking and hoping for a pre-Jan 1 delivery is...gone.
Not the end of the world.
