Ionna has a station off I-78 in Kutztown, PA (just West of Allentown) at Sheetz and at rush hour was only $0.39/kWH to charge. So easy with the Ford app.
By the time I went in to use the restroom, get a coffee, browse the candy, and send a few emails from the mobile office - I was back to 80%...
I prefer to stay in more vibrant areas so I can walk to and from a pub. Most of the free charging stations are at hotels that are not in downtown areas. Need to be selfish and have my "me time"! lol
$3.99 at most Sheetz - for both of my equations I used the floor.......most fuel would be...
Same here, when backing into the garage.
I literally have to go at the slowest speed possible when reversing into the garage to avoid the sudden braking.
To play devils advocate, in some instances it is cheaper and logistically smarter to drive an ICE vehicle.
For example: upcoming I have as Harrisburg, PA -> King of Prussia, PA -> Newark, NJ -> Boston, MA -> Providence, RI -> Harrisburg PA trip. Additional stops are there, so it'll be roughly...
Same..........unless a 2022 F150 Platinum in Star White Metallic w/ Carmelo Interior, Max Recline Seats, 6.5' bed, 5.0 Coyote, 3:73s, pano roof, auto stop/start delete, with no factory bedliner becomes available.
Lol.....I literally search daily. Otherwise, my Lightning stays and is (almost)...
Between this and the frunk (and rear seats folded up, assuming no kids/passengers/dogs) it all creates an insanely capable and fun regional roadtrip vehicle.
Also, cant even tell the color is mismatched and no one (besides me ;) ) is tall enough to notice anyway.
@s10mods the only reason someone wouldn't buy/lease a Lightning is if they care about what other people think. IMO, I would lease over a buy at this point in time unless the finance is just too good to pass up.
Coming from a 3.5 EB F150 and a 6.2L Sierra, my Lightning runs laps around those...
In fairness, we should be happy there isn't an OTA to disable all of our vehicles until fixed or have them auto-drive to the nearest dealership. (sarcasm)
Interesting.....
FWIW, I 've said this to everyone who asks about my Lightning, but I still firmly believe the Lightning is what consumers want - consumers just didn't know they wanted it.
I'm a perfect example of not knowing until I was like, wait a minute - this makes too much sense.
Ford...
I came from a 6.2L AT4. It was a beast with the upgraded factory exhaust. Hope you love premium fuel costs lol! $700 in July of this past year with all the driving I did.
I buy a Lightning in September, and then gas prices plummet and the Lightning gets cancelled. Don't follow me for stock...
Definitely a weird place to be right now, owning a Platinum Lightning. I had negotiated mine from $87,190 msrp down to $78,950 back in early September. Thought I had the deal of the century considering I still got the 0%, 0 down, no payment window and I had them "throw-in" a spare tire and...
